Our host, Catharine, was especially welcoming and helpful. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived and all home comforts were catered for. The location was very peaceful and dreamy, being right by the waters' edge. There was somewhere to picnic and, if it is your thing, to fish as well. Little more than a 5 minute drive from Enniskillen, we found the location just right for our needs. Breakfast included a limited, but more than satisfactory, selection of cooked options as well as cereals, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. If we were in the area again we would definitely return. Extremely good value for money.
More a suggestion than a 'didn't like', but maybe breakfast could include local produce, bread, eggs, dairy items. It would have added an additional regional touch.

Excellent friendly welcome, comfortable bedroom with a great view of the river alongside the property and a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Catherine our host is a delight, as is her lovely dog Joe!
Nothing, this is such a peaceful, friendly place.

From the min we got there it was fantastic.the views and the service was excellent couldn’t ask for better,I think it would be a lovely place to visit in the summer when there would be more people on the water, but it was still lovely

the property as the name suggests is right in the water. you could get any closer. the room was spotless & everything was available, tea , coffee & the option of fresh milk. really could not have been better.

The surroundings were absolutely stunning. It was quiet and very peaceful. Catherine was an amazing host she made us feel very welcome. The breakfast for out of this world so much on offer and Catherine was very accommodating. Her dog is also the cutest, I happened to meet him on the day of our departure he is such a friendly, loveable character.

Mmmmmm! Where do I start! I was taking my girlfriend here for a night at the weekend, and I haven’t done anything like this before, so I exchanged quiet a few messages with the owner, she helped me extremely 😀 when we arrived we where met with the lovely and very kind hostess Catherine, whom with just a few messages back and forth, I felt like I already knew her, so with her warm welcome and a lovely chat she showed us around, everything about her and her guest house and location is all first class. It didn’t take to long for my girlfriend to realise what I meant when I said it feels like I knew her, as she said the same as me in just 15 minutes 😀 room was brilliant food was brilliant service was brilliant, everything was brilliant. We met the famous dog Joe whom is the most lovely and friendly dog yo will ever meet, also a couple of full of life pigs roaming around, everything was exceptional. I can not recommend this place any more highly, if you are looking a day or twos ‘total peace’ then look no further, u have all you need here, with neighbouring towns for food and drinks etc. Get booking folks u will not be disappointed 😀😍
Not one thing I didn’t like, other than we only stayed for 1 night and not forever 🙈😂

Great place to stay, lovely setting and a gem of a Guest House Thanks to Catherine for looking after us so well. Lovely trip to Devenish Island and a very interesting visit to Enniskillen Castle
There was nothing to not like ! !

Katherine is a great host - very warm and friendly. The accommodation was also good - the room was the right size; the bed comfortable; the wifi worked; and there was a wide variety of refreshments. Breakfast was just great - whilst I had and enjoyed there Fermanagh breakfast, my vegetarian partner also enjoyed the scrambled eggs immensely.
I hadn't appreciated that the house was so far from any pubs - the nearest was more than walking distance away. The description of the house led us to believe that they would be nearer. I ought to have read it properly, perhaps! However, the taxi into the city was very cheap at £15 each way, so no real issue at all.

Our host Kathleen, was warm friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, clean and cosy..breakfast was absolutely amazing. Nothing was to much bother for Kathleen. We will be back.
The only thing I didn't like was having to leave.

Lovely spotlessly clean comfortable guesthouse, Catherine is an amazing host, very attentive and helpful, our room was lovely overlooking the waterway, breakfast was beautiful and a big selection, was hard deciding what to have. Guesthouse set in lovely peaceful surroundings. The resident piggies were hilarious escaping their field, poor Catherine running after them to herd them back into their field, Hubby and l had a fab time, will go back again for sure. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay, Cathy and Alan

Absolutely excellent, We were treated really well, highly recommended. Derek & Pearl.
All great, nothing we didn't like.

Great selection at breakfast, lane to the house not really wide enough when another vehicle was coming Road to the house was very narrow

Catherine, the hose is a natural when it comes to running her guest house. She is highly experienced, customer-friendly, well organized and keeps her place clean and tidy. She ensures that her guests leave with satisfaction and this has been undoubtedly true in my experience :).
More clear signs could be placed along the road pointing to its location to aid new and unfamiliar guests to reach the destination easily. This is a suggestion based on my experience because the postcode is not specific and refers to an area with a number of houses so a clear road sign help.

Gorgeous setting, we had a room overlooking the river. Our hostess,Cathleen was most attentive to our needs and we felt well looked after
Nothing about the property is negative but it is worth mentioning that the location is pretty remote and we had drive back into Enniskillen for dinner .

Catherine (hostess) was delightful - engaging, fun, helpful and a pleasure to be around. The room, although somewhat dated, was very comfortable, and very clean, with a lovely bed, and quite spacious. We also had a view out front over the river - it was fun to be greeted every morning by the "dawn chorus" of the cattle opposite on Inishmore island, coming down to the water's edge to drink, and greet their cousins on this side of the river. Was certainly different from the birdsong at home!
Honestly, the frontage of the property could do with sprucing up - the river aspect in particular. Such a gorgeous location, I would have loved to have had a bench or two down by the river's edge to enjoy a morning coffee, and the picnic table affair was falling to bits, so not that useable. I get it, that post Covid, these things happen, and I'm sure Catherine will get round to it as customers return.
Also, a detail maybe, but with so much great artisan food in the area, I would have liked to have seen that reflected in the breakfasts - they were fine, but very much "supermarket" produce, not local................indeed, Catherine gave us a jar of beautiful home made blackcurrant jam on departure, and it is beautiful! More of that sort of thing would be great! She could even charge more for that level too, and we'd happily pay it
