Excellent location

It’s a great location, with lovely loading view. The cottages were better than what’s advertised here. They were clean and welcoming. Outdoor shower was great too. Steve was a great host and helped us to get around and plan our day.

Nothing much. The roosters are everywhere anyway, but they were very annoying and woke us up at 6.

It’s in a good location on the lagoon side. It’s a good family base as the facilities create a compound for kids to run around. There is the chance of kite surfing from here but you need your own gear. Gear can be hired by two operators but only on honeymoon island and it’s a massive struggle if you don’t go over at 9am to the island. You are then stuck on the island until 4:30pm to come home. The spot out the front has a sand bar which is exposed to launch from at low tide. At high tide it requires swimming over to. Kite foils look to be better from here with ease of use.

We could hear the neighbours using their bathroom during the night.

The location of the property is amazing. The easy walk to the restaurant, cafe and bars is awesome!

The only dislike was the bed, unfortunately it was very uncomfortable.

Basic comfortable clean room met all the basics

The 'swimming' pool was green when I arrived and it was green when I left. Only then after 5 days was anyone seen to be trying to do anything to remedy it. Unusable. I rented a motorcycle for 24 hours on my first day and was surprised the tank was just half full. "Don't worry just fill to half when you are finished or if you can't get petrol I will do tomorrow" It was Sunday. I am familiar with semiautomatic motorcycles but not this brand so was unsure of the tank size so I took the staff members advice. By 11am the tank was in the red and I was looking for somewhere to fill up. No go. It's Sunday. I had no alternative than to go back to the hotel, noone there, and park the bike up for the remaining 21 hours of my hire. When I reported the situation to the staff member in the morning there was no empathy, no offer of a refund, no offer to complete the rental or even 6 hours now that fuel was available. "Half tank lasts me two and a half days". So it must have been my fault. Unhelpful.

Nice spot near the lagoon and handy to cafes

I loved the whole experience of just relaxing and resting especially after the long week I had. I throughly enjoyed my time at a place where I could rest swim eat whenever I wanted too. Thank you for the excellent experience Dillon

The staff

Dylan is very nice guy, he helped us a lots. The accommodation is clean and opposite to the prive island and few restaurants are close to there.

I liked the location, the million dollar ocean view👌the service was awesome, Steve & Dillon were just amazing and really looked after us. So yes happy customers👏👍

Just the heat in our room was unbearable even though we had a fan. I guess if you want air-conditioning just got to pay a little extra for an air-conditioning room. Mind you it was pretty hot on the Island for the 10 plus days we stayed.

Great location and easy access to lagoon and did surfing or kayaking , great water supply and plenty of hot showers and good facilities for simple cooking and heating . Bed very comfortable also .

That one rooster who seems to enjoy crying out at 4 am by my window , also ease of access was abit convoluted...

Perfect location, it isn’t pretentious and if you feel you need more luxury, then you don’t understand Aitutaki

We absolutely loved it and Steve was the best host. they made us feel at home. We’ve stayed in other places on the island but Ranginuis will be our preferred place from now on. We had access to complementary water sports equipment, enjoyed the swimming and from experience nothing beats family run accommodations. we will definitely be back.
