Just amazing inside and out. The historical talking pieces were fun. It’s more of a first class experience than just a stay. The host is fabulous!

Once in awhile something very special pops up and this was Beaufort house. From the very warm welcome by Sharyn to the love and attention to detail in everything Sharyn does. I would give this property a 12 if I could. The breakfast was exceptional and the property is warm and peaceful. We had a great sleep. We'll done Sharyn your love and effort shows in every detail.

a magnificent property beautifully presented and maintained. a wonderful breakfast and the concept of meeting fellow guests over sundowners and breakfast makes the experience.

there was nothing not to like however it was very hot and these older buildings do not cool easily. they did their utmost to ensure we were cool

Fabulous, beautiful place

We arrived quite late to check-in but Sharon was such a wonderful host and set out some plates and glasses for us in the beautiful drawing room so that we could enjoy our food after all shops had closed. The location is fantastic and Sharon was a wonderful host who put on an incredible breakfast spread! We liked chatting to the other guests over the breakfast table too. Finally the house was beautiful - full of lots of lovely antiques to admire. Sharon even gave us a personal demo of the gramophone! Big thank you for sharing lovely Beaufort House with us.

Sharon & Noel are consummate hosts and think of everything - we had the most wonderful experience, which was such a special treat for our Mum. The drinks and canapés in the evening, through to sublime breakfasts (the omelettes really are incredible!) and such thoughtful touches the rooms - everything was perfect. We really hope to be back!

Absolutely loved our overnight stay - the hosts were amazing with lots of local knowledge. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing. The best omelets ever!! Highly recommend to other traveller's.

Beautiful house and excellent central location, good parking and easy to find

Wished we could have stayed longer

We loved the ambiance, the beautiful collections, our hosts, the breakfast, our room, the furnishings. OMGosh, actually it is all very special .

They had such an eye to detail that they outfitted each room with such care. Personal service rather than customer service. True kindness and hospitality. Noel and Sharon were wonderful hosts.

Hated having to leave.

This is a beautiful home with fantastic hosts. Enjoyed the Downton Abbey style breakfasts and evening drinks. Gorgeous gardens allowing for plenty of relaxation

Beautiful historic house set in a wonderful location. The garden was amazing and sitting on the verandah was so peaceful and restful. Sharon and Noel are wonderful hosts and the service went far beyond our expectations. I thoroughly recommend a stay at Beaufort House if travelling to Akaroa.
