The house was literally just ok. However, it's pretty misleading. There is a lake, and the pictures show the property being right on the lake but you can't get to the lake because there is a spill way. The pools that you HAVE to pay for (another $24/per person) are over a half mile away. There were cobwebs in the light fixtures. One of the rooms clearly had problems with the plug because there was black soot all over the plug from an electrical fire. The yard is not kept up. It is so far away from everything. It takes 15 min to get out of the development to a main road with any kind of food / store. The floors were soooo creaky. You couldn't sleep in in the basement rooms if someone was still up. The shower heads were awful. Also, not providing sheets or towels is a huge hassle. You don't realize how much extra work it is until you are doing it. If you have kids, forget it. We each had to bring an entire extra suitcase just for bedding/towels. You also have to haul the trash to the main gate -- a 3 min drive. They didn't have enough garbage bags or paper towels. The area is not nice enough for this hassle of a house to be worth it. I wish we would have spent more money and had a better house.

Great place to be with different age groups in your party. So many things to do at Arrow head Lake. The house is as described space wise. The host was fast in answering all my questions.

The only improvement I seen was Better direction on how to check in we drove past the welcome center. It was a minor glitch to a awesome vacation.

I always have been nervous to use this kind of service because I’m very picky on where I stay. My entire group loved the house. We had 7 kids with us and the downstairs was perfect for the kids/teens to have their own space. The house was clean and the owner was very responsive whenever I had questions. We plan on returning for a visit in the fall!

Nice location and pretty good property

The stay was very nice we had a good time. Couple things though it was freezing in the basement we chose this house for the extra bedrooms but the kids couldn’t sleep downstairs. No matter how we adjusted the thermostat it was freezing in the basement , warm on the middle floor and comfortable on the 3rd floor. The outdoor furniture was all broken i recommend replacing it. it was perfect for us but it’s an old house with old furniture but it’s a good location within the property we walked to the pool and lakes. The decks were big and perfect for 8 people to play outside but we didn’t eat outside as some of the chairs were broken so we couldn’t all sit. Fire pit was great but again furniture was broken. The slide and the swings were ideal for the kids. Homeowner was EXCELLENT. She was one of the best I have ever dealt with which to me is more important

Our family and extended family members try to gather yearly for a summer getaway. We were thoroughly impressed with this property. It had plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the surrounding Pocono area. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, large greatroom, and well stocked kitchen with all the appliances needed to make cooking smooth. The location made it easy for us to walk to the beaches/pools/water activities. And, it was nice to be able to bring our pets along too. The hostess replied to any of my communications in a very prompt manner, and she helped with getting the process for us to register as guests with the Arrowhead Association to be able to use all the water locations (this is a must and has to be done at least a week in advance)! We would highly recommend this home, and hope to return again soon. Our family trip was a very happy and memorable time!

House was so spacious. 11 of us were so comfortable and had more than enough space. Pool table was a big hit. Amenities were great! We enjoyed the pools, lake, boat rentals, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. Couldn't have asked for a better week away!

Check in at the community center first to get your keycard. Then go to the Orno entrance to get to the house.

Nice property. Very maintained and stocked. Owner is a dream to deal with, extremely helpful ! The only 2 things I would change is how they handle the car reg and bracelet pick up. I had to pay ahead for guests who didn’t show which felt a little wasteful money wise. The other issue was that the pools had limited availability due to staffing issues but, post pandemic, this is everywhere right now. Could ALWAYS go to the lake which was nice. Overall the trip was very nice. The lake is beautiful.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was clean and very well kept. Nhora was exceptional to deal with and always responded to any emails very quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

We were really looking forward to this vacation. However, seeing the cabin was very disappointing. Not only was there cobwebs and dust everywhere, the carpets were filthy, there were holes in screens, and the property was just obviously not taken care of. Tiles were broken, the yard was a mess, and the overall community was not even close to being worth the price we paid. The owner was apologetic, but it was obvious she does not care for the property at all. When the power went out due to a storm on on second day, we decided to drive the 8 hours back home.

This was a great place to stay. Owner was prompt in her response to an inquiry. Beautiful windows with lots of light and location is on a quiet street. Loved that the beach was so close!

This was an excellent property as advertised. Enjoyed the daily trek of a doe and her two fawns through the property and relaxation on the lake. The local golf courses were in superb conditions. Highly recommend

We looked at dozens of properties before chosing this one and we were not disappointed! Our extended family of 10 fit easily, we had room to spread out, and to be all together too. Our Host was always quick to respond to my many questions before we arrived. We will keep this property in mind for future trips!

Wonderful place for adult gatherings. Loved the wrap around porch. All bedrooms were comfy and good size. Each level of the home was comfortable.

House was perfect for our needs. Big enough to allow for multiple activities in the house without disturbing others, close enough to all the poconos has to offer and quiet enough to enjoy the peace. Host was extremely responsive. The only caution I would give is that if you expect amenities to be available in March during a pandemic, you will be slightly disappointed. Other than the tennis courts closed, could not have asked for a better time with my kids and a few of their friends.

The house was not only beautiful, but very spacious and very open! Great location with a view of the lake and in a very secure and safe community. Lots to keep occupied with such as a fire pit, pool table, and three floors with TVs on each so kids could do their thing and the adults did theirs. Home owner was very helpful and friendly, as well as responded quick to any questions. There is many outdoors amenities offered in the community (we didn’t use due to the cold weather) but would be very useful in the summer.

The house was clean, updated and comfortable. Everything was great and as advertised. Owner was quick to answer any questions and very proactive. We had a great long ski weekend and I would certainly stay here again!!

The location and condition of this home was very good. However VRBO needs to be a little more transparent with their online pricing. It should reflect at the very beginning additional charges such as housecleaning ,Taxes ,property charges, VRBO fees. What started out advertised as a per diem actually resulted in a 50% higher fee for our stay. This was stated in the owner’s profile but the come on is misleading in the advertised pricing of the home per night. Additionally this particular community had their own fees that cost me an additional $180 that was not known to me at all until four days before arrival. They actually charged for a temporary membership per adult during the PA covid 19 alert Thanksgiving week.The charges were to enable the renters to have access not only for gate passes but also to the beaches, playgrounds, and sports courts, all of which were closed. It is strange to me about how they could justify this. Again these fees were completely out of the hands of the owner who was more than accommodating to me.

Property was immaculate. Has lots of room and fit our family of 12 comfortably. Quiet peaceful and relaxing neighborhood

This place was perfect for us. The price was quite reasonable for 5 bedroom. And the community (Arrowhead Lake) was super cute . My only complaint was the community charged us $20 a person for wrist bands so you can access their facilities (lake, pool, rec room, etc) and I was not aware of this required cost that came 48 hrs in advance directly from the community (not from VRBO.) Other than that, everything was perfect. Owner was easy to reach, responded quickly, accommodated our requests and helped me adjust car information when our plans changed. The property was clean, had a stocked kitchen and a huge wrap around deck with two full size outdoor tables. There's two living rooms on separate floors to allow for relaxing in different areas and a lot of activities at the house like pool table, fire pit and swings. We would 100% stay here again! It was just what we were looking for.

Beautiful home, super clean and plenty of space. The toddlers had a great time (loves the swings) everyone really enjoyed their stay. Arrowhead is a very nice community with a small sandy beach by the lake and playground. We would absolutely come back.

Our family had a great time here overall. Although the house could use some deep cleaning it’s was a nice place to stay. Our biggest disappointment was that the property was listed as waterfront but actually had no access to the water from the property. But overall had everything we needed within the community and property itself.

This house represents itself well on the listing. I have been to many vacation rentals and most do not. This one is accurate. I loved the community it is in too. It was a great stay.

Me and a group of friend booked this house for a nice relaxing valentine weekend. We had a great time and the house was nice and had everything as listed. only thing I wish was different was that the master bedroom didn’t have cat or dog hair all over it. But other then that everything else was good and as described

The house is very spacious, there was plenty of space for 12 people to be comfortable. However, it was very dirty from top to bottom. The bathrooms, kitchen drawers and cabinets were disgusting. We had to clean before we could start enjoying our stay. I don’t want to be rude, because the owner was very nice, but we paid for a clean house. Evan Fonseca

My extended family and I have been going to the Pocono Mts for Thanksgiving for several years. We choose houses that meet our current needs at that time. This house was a very good fit for us. The house is very spacious and clean. Although we had a small incident regarding a plumbing issue, the owners quickly solved the problem and kept us informed during the repair time. In addition, my dealings with the owners were outstanding throughout the renting process. We will keep this house on our short list for future Thanksgiving weekends.
