I can't wait to go back. Tranquil and secluded, but easy access to local restaurants and grocery stores. Spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 and our dog. Updated but not overly fancy or pretentious. Nature all around! We saw so many different birds and even a deer that walked through the backyard one morning. Host was great with communication and made everything easy.

Just recently stayed April 2022-A perfect vacation home for a quiet and relaxing long weekend. (wish we stayed longer) - Check in was easy. Ann was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was spacious, beautiful water views, very private location, very clean, close to town for pizza run, major stores close by. We actually cooked a full turkey dinner and Easter Ham ! Wi-Fi was awesome (just in case you need to check in with the outside world ;-) )- Over all a wonderful time to re-connect with our teenage children and a well needed break and everlasting memories. Great stay at Ann’s beautiful place. I stayed with 7 family members (all adults) and we enjoyed being all together in the main open space. Gorgeous views and still lots of color mid-November. Ann was very easy to coordinate with. Stay here!

This property is one of a kind! A family home which has obviously been the location of very many happy memories. Quirky layout inside, fabulous huge deck overlooking Bourne cove with fantastic views. Quiet cove. Very quiet and secluded with nature preserves/walking trails nearby. If you are looking for a newly restored vacation location with high end knives in the kitchen and linen in the bed/bath, this is not the place for you. If you are seeking peaceful beauty and are in awe of layers upon layers of stars viewed at night from the dock - you've found your dream vacation. If you can spent hours watching the oyster farmers on the cove, be surprised by an osprey carrying an enormous fish in one claw taking a break on the dock, amuse yourself counting crabs of all sizes at the slack tides - then this is definitely the place for you! Very roomy in site. No fireplace inside or out. Birds abound in the trees with hours of heron/egret watching from the porch. Dogs welcome with plenty of areas for walking. Highly recommend for a restorative get away. Lots to enjoy for active family members and those who just need a good rest. One family member who has joined us for 8 years has declared this is the best vacation location yet and is looking to return next year.

This house is perfect.. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, table tennis and a dock which is great for launching our kataks, a paddleboards and tubes. In the fall we got to fish for blue crab and the stargazing is fantastic to say nothing about the spacious wrap-around deck. We had a marvelous time and plan to return again soon.

Peaceful setting on the water. We loved sitting on the porch listening to so many birds. Really enjoyed our stay!

Four friends gathered for a week together. WE had a lovely stay and the home and location were perfect for our needs.

Pictures are on point. Ocean in your backyard. Wrap around deck with plenty of seating while you listen to the birds and turkeys and take in the ocean breeze. Fishing off the dock and even took out the canoe. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition....

Ann was wonderful - so responsive and left great notes about quirky things with the home! We cannot wait to come back - maybe in a warmer season, next time! A bonus for me was realizing that much of the artwork in the house was created by Ann! Highly recommend!

This is a thoughtfully designed and well-maintained house in a beautiful waterfront setting. Highly recommend.Views: Most of the home has gorgeous views of the water.Deck: The house has a huge wraparound deck. The deck has a nice dining table with accompanying seating, near the grill. Bedrooms: The master bedroom was so impressive. A-frame style panoramic windows on one side, sliding glass doors on the other side with waterfront views. Bedroom has its own thermostat and was easy to set a comfortable temperature. Huge walk-in closet with room to hang things and hangers. Huge master bathroom with nicely placed heat vent in the floor that will keep your feet warm as you get ready in front of the mirror. (No tub in the master bedroom, but the upstairs bedroom en-suite has a tub.) The other bedrooms were small but nice. The owners said that their parents’ built the house in the 60s, and I could feel the thoughtfulness that went into the design of the house. Other highlights: Fully stocked kitchen and pantry, and fully stocked closets with towels, tissues, toilet paper, soap, etc. Comfortable, beautiful living room, albeit with simple furnishings. The hanging paper lamps are perfect for highlighting the strengths of this space.Kitchen has plenty of counter space and easy to work in.Internet was fast and reliable.Short and easy drive (less than 5 minutes) into town- plenty of stores and restaurants.Easy drive onto the cape and local attractions. Food at the Lobster Trap was a highlight. I usually like to try staying in different homes and tend not to repeat a stay, but this is a home that I hope to return to and stay again.

We had a great time. The house was very helpful in providing information about things to do while we were there. The house is well designed, well furnished and we found had everything we needed. We had a great time and hope to go back.

We loved staying at this home! Very private and peaceful. Great communication with Ann. First floor master is a California King bed, very roomy. Hope to stay here again in the future.

We rented this property for five nights. Where do I even begin? The process started with Ann, who was lovely and walked us through every step, including sending a helpful guide to the house. She was even responsive within minutes during our stay when a question came up. The home is beyond beautiful, words truly cannot explain the views, the ocean breeze and the tranquility of the neighborhood. Only an hour-ish from Boston, but feels like a piece of heaven, a world away. This is hands down the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. This property is a 10/10!

Lots of fun.

The house was very nice, and while some roads leading to the property were a little tight, we had no trouble getting to and from the house. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Ann was also very communicative throughout the whole process.

This property is located on a peaceful and serene location on Bourne Cove that was perfect for our family vacation. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the first floor and a 4th bedroom and bath on the second floor. The master suite on the first floor is very spacious with access to the wrap-around deck. The beds were very comfortable. The large kitchen is well equipped and organized and the living / dining area easily accommodated our group. In the basement, there are bunkbeds, couch, large TV and a ping pong table. There are 7 chairs and a dining table on the large deck. Walk down from the house to the dock that extends into Bourne Cove to provide a launch site for kayaks and canoe as well as fishing. The neighborhood feature large homes on very large, forested lots - perfect for walks or runs. The only traffic is for residents on this dead-end road. It is an easy 3 mile drive to downtown Wareham for shopping and Dunkin Donuts. There is no traffic or boat noise - only the sounds of nature and this location would be perfect for writing a book in any season. We spotted deer several times. The owners were very pleasant and responsive. Other considerations for potential renters: located on the cove and heavily wooded, there is no air-conditioning. This was not an issue during our rental period with cool nights. We did have an issue with water pressure that prompted us to co-ordinate showers and laundry. There is no "sandy" beach in the cove.

Good location, quiet and owners have good communication.
