The host lady is super friendly and welcoming! She speaks at least French, English and Italian. If you live on the first floor you get instant access to the pool. The pool! You can park your car right beside your windows so it’s safe and sound. We got everything we needed including safebox, fast and stable WiFi and etc. The property is close to a mall where you can shop grocery or just eat at McDonald’s. It is also five to ten minutes away by car from beautiful beaches.

This appartment has everything you need to be confortable, located very close to Grand Bay which is one of the best areas in Mauritius and the appartment is located in a calm street which feels very safe. The host was very helpful and easy reachable, she gave us good advices for our stay and even during a Cyclone that happened we felt very safe at this appartment. It was one of the cheapest appartment we found and it was pretty fair. It also has a pool which is well mantained and we used many times (I would recommend early on the day before the mosquitos come out at late afternoon).

Nothing very dramatic, but there were several small details. Even though the appartment has a good facilities and the kitchen is well equiped, pans are already very old and not easy to cook with. It also feels like the linings and curtains are already too old and it for sure takes out some points in feeling confortable. We got some towels that I believe should have been thrown away a long time ago. The mattress was for us too hard. The air conditioner was only in one room, so we had to use it at full power to try get some cooling on the other rooms. The toilet piping was leaking which produced also bad smell. Finally when booking (we are a couple with a baby), we had the option to book either for 2 adults or 4 adults, so we decided to book for 2 (yes baby missing) and upon arrival we were told that was not OK and we had to pay extra. So later on, the manager said we should pay the fee for 4 adults, which I rejected as being unfair, so at the end we ended paying 110€ extra for our baby, that sleeps with us in the same bed and consumes basically NOTHING of services. The appartment should have a fixed value.

It is a decent size 2 room apartment with balcony, very clean and comfortable. We didnt use the pool but it looked nice and clean. It is about15 to 20 minute walk to grand baei seafront walking in the shortcut not the main roads. Shopping market is nearby about 10 minutes. Host is very helpful and welcoming.

Apartment a little far from sea front. Only the main room has aircon, the rest of the apartment doesnt and felt a little humid overall. Could have been from leaking or faulty pipes from upstairs. Also on sunday, men were doing a lot of noise in the roof fixing some pipes, it was 7am and went on for hours, this disrupted our sleep. We had to contact the host. Would have appreciated if we were informed of this the night before. Second room does not have a wardrobe or anywhere to put clothes. Adding something woukd be great. Beds were s little noisy too.

The pool was great, nice place to sit outside. Overall good facilities and the host was really kind. she provided us with lots of information about activities and helped us where needed.

The sleeping bed is small to sleep on with 2 grown man. So when your group consists of 6 people 2 have a less comfortable night.

We enjoyed staying at Villa Colosseo in Grand Baie. The location is very convenient - very close to the beach and restaurants of the area. The apartment is very clean and the owner is such a nice, caring and helpful woman. Thank you for everything :)
