There is a parking five minutes walking from hotel It is difficult to find the parking but that is not the fault of the hotel but the town .....

Location was perfect for exploring town! Parking was near hotel which made it easy to get to.

The location was possibly one of the best in the city, located at the end of the center of town. It made the walk-through linear and easy. The room itself had plenty of space. As I was leaving the gentleman asked if I had the breakfast, I said I did not because I woke up late. He still gave me a croissant anyway and said no morning in France should start without one. Excellent gesture from the lad!

The walls were somewhat thin but nothing that caused any real issues.

Wonderful location, probably the best in Rouen. staff were happy and cheerful, and if you get a room with a terrace garden, what more could you want.

Hotel very tired looking, the photos of the rooms do not resemble what you get. The bedroom paint was scratched off the furniture, the wallpaper was coming off the walls.

I just loved the terace view towards the Cathedral in the morning, there is a possibility to have own breakfast there and hear the sound of the bells. Quite special.

Hotel is quite old, but unique, it has its charms everythere, in the paintings and garden.

The location was great.. very near the Cathedral..parking was close by 2 mins walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. There was a small roof terrace where we had a glass of wine looking at the spire of the cathedral. very comfortable and great value . I would highly recommend.

Room was reasonable size. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure good. Handy to have a fridge in the room.

Booked the family room for 4. Expected access to own patio as part of the room. Was told on arrival when we questioned, that patio was not part of room and this was an error on booking.com. Although I had paid for the room up front many months before arrival, on day of departure, receptionist tried to have me pay full amount again.

Everything about this hotel is great: it’s perfectly positioned in the centre of Rouen, the staff are friendly and efficient, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the generous buffet breakfast was varied and tasty, and the arrangement for late arrivals via Booking.com’s messaging system worked perfectly. The ancient, timber-framed building is full of quirky delights, its central courtyard is an oasis of calm, and, not having been able to visit for a few years, we were delighted to discover that the hotel still has a resident cat!

The wi-fi was a bit flaky - but since we didn’t come to Rouen to sit indoors and browse the internet, this wasn’t really too much of a problem!
