Location was central to a lovely piazza and a short walk to the Como centre and lake. We booked a room for three people and it was very spacious. Bathroom facilities were good. Beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast choice was also quite good with a variety of cooked, cereal, pastries and fruit,

Great location with lots of restaurants in the area and very close to the train station. Beds were comfortable and good breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The towels were paper thin so they could really give you a proper towel to use.

The hotel is situated in a great location, which made it easy for me to explore the city. The breakfast provided was also quite good and had a good variety of options.

I recently stayed at Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel, and I was left feeling quite disappointed with my experience. Firstly, there was no early check-in option available, which was inconvenient for me. The receptionists were also quite cold and unwelcoming, which made me feel uncomfortable. The room itself was quite small, and the cleaning was not up to my standards. Additionally, the room was not warm enough, and there were noisy pigeons right outside the window, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep. Overall, my experience at Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel was less than satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to others. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve the quality of service provided to guests in the future.

The hotel was just lovely, very simple, but very cozy. It had everything I expected - very good breakfast (what's more, I could not eat unpasteurized milk products at the time and the staff was so helpful to look it up for me - they even brought the cheese packages for me to see), comfortable small and cozy room, free wi-fi, perfect location (Old Town Bern, just a few minutes from the train station, all kinds of shops around) and just this calm and enjoyable vibe to it. The staff at the reception was also very welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is beautifully located in the old town near the restaurants and sightseeing places. The breakfast is great with delicious local products.

The rooms are very small, there's little sound insulation, so it was noisy from the neighbors, and the beds were too small, too.
