I arrived in the wvening and the lady at the reception was so nice and welcoming. I had found and booked a room with a shared bathroom but she gave me a free upgrade with my own bathroom for free since someone canceled. Thank you!! The room was great with a nice terrace.

Breakfast time is onlt 6 30- 9 30. Would be nice to have it till 11.

The breakfast was amazing, a wonderful choice of food plus a lovely view over Nikolausberg church and across to the city. All the staff I met were pleasant and helpful. The surroundings are pleasant and it's just a short walk into the woods, don't miss them particularly if you go in spring, when they are full of beautiful wild flowers!

It's just a tiny point, but it would be more logical if all the drinks were together at breakfast - it took me a while to find the tea which was a long way from the coffee!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, the room was good and the restaurant excellent. Can heartily recommend this hotel.

Excellent whelming welcoming staff, facilities are beyond expectations, quiet, comfort, breakfast comes with good selection of food, option for a variety of foods, coffee, tea, juices beverages, whichever one like one can take, highly recommended

The cheap room wasn’t very nice, there was only one shared bathroom with shower, which was too little and it was quite loud (but that was just because of my neighbours). Also the part of the house with the cheap rooms just was old and not that well maintained (the rest of the hotel was though)

I could bring the pet. Also the price was reasonable. Therefore my expectations were not too high.

The staff were so friendly. The new main building and the old building were operating at the same time. If you've been assigned a room in the new building, you're in luck. If you go in a group, you will stay in an old building. Breakfast is fantastic.

Clean room with new and modern furniture, not common in Germany (mostly a country-house style from 70s). Car parking very close to the hotel, safe to let the vehicle overnight. Smart self-picking bar at the reception to access drinks and water. Great view from the restaurant at the 3rd floor. Very close to the highway, perfect for a stop over along a road trip without any special sightseeing purpose.

Limited menu´ at the 3rd floor restaurant without simple dishes for children such as a schnitzel. As no restaurants were open at walking distance from the hotel, that was the only option. Room was missing of choices of pillows, as they were too fluffy and "empty" and no AC available in the room.
