Breakfast was great, staff very friendly.
Decor could be improved, quite old fashioned and out dated.

Aanpalende kamers zeer gehorig, speelde fluit tot laat in de avond wat zeer storend was.

Parking was limited as the surrounding areas was parking permit only.

Plenty of hanging storage in the room.
Kitchenette in the annexe room was a real bonus.
Location was great for exploring the town.
It’s a lovely period building too.
The decor was a little dated, but perfectly fine.
We could have done with some drawers, but that’s a really minor issue.

Room was a very good size. Beds were soft with little support at the edge; despite this I slept well. Plenty of hot water in a generous sized shower. Good breakfast.
The floorboards creaked, and I was worried about disturbing anyone below as I rise early.

The water flow in the bathroom was very slow. There was some black mould in the bathroom.
One of the double glazed windows had “blown” and was somewhat opaque.

For the amount, the hotel is simply unremarkable! Super service from cool, kind and caring staff! The hygiene is remarkable and the place has positive energy ! I personally don't go anywhere else when I'm in town and I don't know what I could do with To be surprised even in a 5-star hotel

Staff were helpful and booking was seamless.
Well there is a general smell in the room and the bathroom was dirty. It had not been cleaned properly and seemed like the cleaning was done sometime ago and not regularly.

close and handy for where we had to go , brekky was nice
our room was on the top floor and I’m not getting any younger , so stairs were a pain .it seemed busy when we arrived so didn’t put up a fuss

Reception team and breakfast staff were all very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was very warm and beds comfortable. Delicious breakfast and real coffee. Location is spot on, right in the centre
Thin walls and dated windows make you hear everything that's happening outside your room so you will wake up through the night if you're not a deep sleeper and have loud neighbours down the corridor .

lovely Victorian house, large, light, rooms, big windows, good location, impressive from the outside, good breakfast, pleasant staff.
very dated, mismatched 70s 80s decor and furniture, stained carpets in hall, mould in bathroom, clashing colours, poor decorative standard, low quality, Ill fitting bedding.

Excellent breakfast. It is a 2 star hotel and a bit scruffy, but beds comfy and sheets clean so no complaints. It does what it says on the tin.
