This hotel has an excellent location, on the edge of the canal, in a pedestrian area, which makes parking difficult, but there is an option at the hotel! But the area is restricted to cars, which makes it difficult. The second floor rooms seem to be more renovated! But the bathroom stall is small, and only has a hand shower! I booked 2 identical rooms on booking, but one of the rooms, on the first floor, was very deteriorated! The laminate flooring was cracked, the air conditioning didn't work and the light in the hall was burned out! I asked that I had booked 2 identical rooms, and if it would be possible to exchange for a better room, and they said they were fully booked! However , I looked it up on booking , and there were still rooms available for that day ! And even then, they didn't change! Breakfast was good and the location is great! But the hotel needs renovation.

The location is fantastic. Right on the waterfront. Parking can be an issue though. Need to book a space with hotel in advance

Rooms are simple. The breakfast also simple.

Loved the choices at breakfast especially the chewy bread rolls with olives, but lots of more ordinary breakfast items too

breakfast was poor, not enough healthy options. even though we requested tea and coffee for the room, all we ever had was a kettle and cups, not even a spoon.

Excellent location and superb breakfast, the rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful and bonus there is 24/7 reception.

My husband and I were very pleased with our room. Our friends initially were not but the staff made every effort to please them and moved them the second night.

We were expecting to be able to launder our clothes while there but there was no laundry available as stated on the website. However, the desk attendant found a laundery and gave me clear instructions with hours, also. Very pleased with how she handled my disappointment.

The hotel is surprisingly beautiful and well located. I booked it to be close to the airport and had no idea how charming and well located it was. I was on the first floor and had windows looking out at the port, it was lovely.

They swapped my room with someone else and that was a bit annoying for a hot second when I accidentally walked in on someone else 😬 The staff was super kind about getting it right and apologized. Not a big deal but when you just want to relax a touch annoying. The AC also didn't work, or I couldn't get it to work and there were no instructions or guidance.

Building was beautiful - location excellent right in seafront. Marble bathroom stunning and reception was beautiful. Great welcome from friendly receptionist who let us park our car doe 30mins outside whilst we got our bags to the room etc.

Room, although large seemed spartan with not even a comfortable chair to read and 2 awful pictures in poor taste. There was only 1 teabag for us and no milk! The bed had only 2 pillows and (I need 2 myself due to my back). The room felt unfinished and a bit cell like due to being so empty and I'd asked for a view and we didn't get one. There were awful worn and stained carpets on the stairs and terrible art on the walls totally inappropriate for such a classical and beautiful building. The breakfast was poor and inadequate and not replenished. Nobody seemed interested in supervising.
