The beach the pool and I wish we stayed in the royal beach hotel rooms

We had ants in our rooms. The bed sheets were dirty I asked to have them changed and the lady on the phone said to me “ you’re not going to tell me when the sheets will be changed.” The AC did not work only the fan worked. I booked 2 studios and 2 apartments the guests were not happy a well. It didn’t know look the same in the picture as well. The bathroom had a very bad smell the rooms were very dirty. When I booked online it said how breakfast is included and it wasnt. When I arrived in the hotel I called the host and she said you have to have a coffee and wait 15-20 mins for me. Very very unprofessional if you ask me. The list goes on and I will be writing a very bad review on the site and so will the other 3 couples. Plus onlin it says parking is included but the parking was full so We had to look for paid parking Hopefully the lady learns to have respect before anything horrible experiences thank god it ended

The pool is amazing, very big and refreshing, lots of sunbeds. 2-3 min walk to the beach, and because it's not directly in the promenade, you can actually get some peace and quiet at night and have a good sleep, while also being close to all the action. Rooms very spacious.

Firstly I need to explain that these apartments are within the Royal Barcelo hotel, but they are owned by private people, so you don't get any of the facilities from the hotel (eg meals included, changing bedsheets and towels etc). We knew this from the beginning so this wasn't a problem, the problem was that other guests would leave their rubbish out on the building staircase and no one would remove it for days, so the stairs down to leave the building were smelling horribly. I understand there is no cleaning included for the apartment itself, but not even for the building? Like someone to clean the floors and remove the rubbish from the stairs every day at least... A shocking experience was parking. When we first arrived, we went straight to reception to ask for parking, and the guy there said sure, we can get spots in the underground hotel parking. However, when we said we are staying in the private apartments, one of his colleagues who overheard us said "oh actually sorry the parking is full", and directed us to the nearby hotel Globus to try and park there. We tried everywhere, it was full. So we returned to Barcelo one more time, and this time there was only one person at reception (the guy who had initially promised us parking, without his colleague), and he gave us the spots in the end. And surprise, when we went to park, there were SO MANY empty spaces. We also asked for sea view rooms on an upper floor, and we got rooms with view of the parking at the back, and one of them was on the ground floor looking into a big tree. Payment was dubious, you had to fill out a form to allow your host to withdraw money from your card, otherwise they wanted cash. Overall wouldn't return.
