A great place to stay in a central location. Room was lovely and spacious, with an excellent breakfast. Andrew is friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to make my stay an enjoyable one.

The room was spacious with high ceilings and what looked like original features, it had lots of natural daylight as well. Plenty of storage units and the bed was comfy. The Breakfast was delicious! Well worth the money at £5. The area itself was quiet and close by to the centre of Darlington.

Lovely old Victorian house just a five minute walk from Darlington centre. Big room, kept very clean. Superb breakfast with excellent options. Andrew and staff were superb and attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if visiting Darlington again.

I booked this for a friend who was visiting for the weekend and he really enjoyed his stay. A charming property full of character and an excellent host. Great location and great breakfast.There is nothing to dislike. A property of this age will inevitably have some signs of wear and tear, but it remains excellent value for money. The entrance hall is truly splendid and the building was kept very warm over a severe cold snap. I/we highly recommend this venue.

Breakfast was superb. The proprietor and staff were welcoming and lovely to deal with.

Minor quibble. Some of the decor and en-suite bathroom was looking a little dated, but it's a period property and that wouldn't put me off staying there again.
