Clean comfortable room , excellent facilities and a very warm welcome ! After two weeks in a hostel , this room was bliss - a large comfortable bed, a hot , powerful shower and a satellite TV. Appreciated the late checkout too Great location close to the lighthouse and cafes of pedlar street, but very quiet street

There was a power cut when we went and they obviously dint have generator..plus the place is covered by building on all sides ..soo no light and air in the rooms..feels exhausting

Great host, clean room, laundry service with ironing available. Neighborhood quiet, train station not far around 15 min walking.

Very friendly and good owner. Excellent location of the rooms. There is a shared kitchen with everything you need. The rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone!

Location is great, room is large with good airco, hot shower with good waterpressure. Owner is very kind and helpful.

Word of advice: use plenty of mosquito spray before setting foot in the kitchen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fort Thari. The manager was super friendly and even brought us coffee every morning. The location is right in the fort with lots of great food and shopping nearby. Our room and bathroom was quite spacious and the AC was great. We recommend this place very much!

Worth for money. Host is friendly and helpful. Clean room, bathroom and the kitchen. AC, Wifi, Hot water are included. And walking distance for all the restaurants. Can recommand this place to stay in galle.

Location was great, very central in Galle Fort.

There was building work going on opposite in the small access passage so it was a bit noisy during working hours. There are a few maintenance issues e.g. the bathroom is a bit tired looking, and I pointed out that one of the bathroom light switch fittings was actually hanging off the wall. There is also a water or air conditioning pump noise which can be clearly heard in the room with the patio doors closed. The patio doors are made from lovely wood and they don't fit perfectly, so it may be difficult to prevent mosquitos coming in. The owner did provide one of those plug in zappers, but no nets. Take earplugs and the pump noise will not bother you!

That’s a great place, the best place to stay for couple. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
