Excellent place with a beautiful view

Great views and property with a lovely pool.

Confusing to get to the property but host was very helpful.

For our preferences, location is a convenient starting point to the west island beaches, closely enough to both the city and Agios Nikitas. Lodging is a bit off the main road, but it is even a convenient walk to the bakery or market stores in the village. Room was very clean and well taken care of. Venue has multiple amenities, such as a swimming pool and BarBQ grill, yet we were mostly on the beach or on the road exploring the island.

Some minor improvement details were conveyed to the owners for consideration.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Erato. The apartment was very clean with enough space for a family of 4. The view from our terrace was stunning and as its location is very quiet, relaxation is guaranteed. Sokratis, the host and his family are very friendly and helpful and gave us some very good suggestions on beaches and restaurants. We can highly recommend this place.

Beautifully located with an amazing view of the sea. Eating breakfast on our terrace was a highlight every day! The Apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials (a Toaster would be a nice addition). A bakery is 10 min walk away, as are some excellent tavernas. The road from the main road to the apartment is a bit of a challenge (very narrow, so it gets a bit tricky if another car approaches, but it was manageable - even for an inexperienced driver like me). Definitely recommend this apartment and would love to return soon.

Location is excellent with a nice view to the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment was big enough for a family with 2 children. Cleaning done every 2 days, including nice arrangements of the kids plush toys, which they enjoyed very much. Very useful hose by the entrance to clean up sand when coming back from the beach. Very nice pool, clean, with an amazing view. The kids spent a lot of time in it.

The shower place didn't have curtains or separators, so every shower meant water splashed all over the bathroom, for which we had to use a mop every time. The kitchen could us a little upgrade, mainly a dish washing machine, which would save both time and water, but also in the accessories (for ex a bowl for salad or a bigger meat knife) and the other appliances. But none of these were deal breakers.

We really liked this place. We had a room in the front building on the first floor where you could see the sea either from the balcony (also the sunset!), but thanks to the big balcony door you could have this view also from the kitchen. The apartment was equipped sufficiently so you could do some basic cooking. There was air conditioning in the kitchen which was enough also to cool down the bedroom. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was clean and huge enough to do some proper swimming, plus it had a beautiful sea view. There were plenty of sunbeds next to the pool. We appreciated the place was really quiet and farther from the main road, with beautiful olive trees around. The host/staff Sokratis was really nice and approachable and gave us some good tips. The room was cleaned every second day and we were happy with this service. There are plenty of parking sots (for free) on the premises so we never had any issue with parking. The Villa is not hard to find, before you arrive just check the street view and you will immediately see you need to turn left right after Irene's café in Tsoukalades (when driving towards Agios Nikitas). Make sure you have a car before booking this, without one you would definitely have a hard time approaching all the beautiful places Lefkada has to offer.

The small road leading to the villa is VERY narrow and crooked, so you wish you won't meet any other car - but the traffic is nearly zero there, so it's not that bad! The pools is open between 9 AM and 9 PM - extending this time to 10 PM would be nice!

Friendly staff.

The bedroom was super tiny and there were no shutters in the main room so at 6am there was so much light that we could not sleep anymore. Also, the access to the property was problematic as the road leading to it was extremely narrow. In case you came across another car you had to back up for several kilometres!!!

The place has a marvelous seaview however is little further from the sea ( 4km). But if you are visiting Lefkada, you have to rent a car to enjoy everything that this island offers. So it is best place to be with a family and car!

We had a great time at Villa Erato. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful and gave us lots of tips about beaches and good restaurants. We stayed at the two beds apartment on the second floor. The apartment was very pleasant, clean and spacy. Beautiful view from the balcony. We definitely recommend this place.
