The Riad is beautiful and clean. The staff was great and helpful with anything we needed. They helped us with a wonderful guide for Fez. They waited for us with dinner the night we arrived. The Riad is in the Medina and is quite hectic but the staff made us feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!!!

roof terrace and pool area needs some tender loving care ! breakfast was mixed wasn’t always offered fruit , the service was mixed we felt undervalued when one of the owners stayed , Ali and the old man always friendly tho .

the place is pretty and right in the Medina. that is an advantage as well as a hindrance because your car cannot drive you to the door

as we couldn’t drive to the door there was a fight of porters who wanted to take our things and wanted to charge us. very uncomfortable . the hotel staff are in on this scam. also the staff was not at all helpful. I forgot my room key in the car , given the distance to parkings and that it was my second night there they could have opened the room for me with their key. They didn’t want to . not at all nice . wouldn’t come back and do not recommend it

The rooms were big, the staff very attentive, the breakfast excellent and the view from the terrace.

The little street where the Riad is located is very dark when coming in the night. The terrace is nothing like the pictures (which I believe it’s photoshopped). The pool wasn’t inviting as the area was full of flies. At the checkout my friend took one of the little shampoo bottles and she was asked to give it back. I think the Riad should drop a couple of stars; be more honest with the published pictures and make the terrace nice as it has potential, but as it is, it doesn’t justify paying that price.

When we game back one afternoon, the attendant did not answer the bell and one of our party really needed to use the bathroom. We were forced to find a public toilet.

The staff were amazing. Especially Si Mohamed and Ssi Ali, who went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. They helped in every way and Simohamed even helped me in everything I needed from the medina during a whole day. Truly wonderful experience.

Mohammed, Hisham and Mr Ali were exceptionally kind. The place was beautiful and really clean. The rooms are also really large with lots of storage to keep our things. Breakfast was also great with lots of options.

The location being in the old medina was tricky because we had too many suitcases and there's an 8-minute walk to the property from where cars have to stop because the road to the Riyad is motorable. I personally didn't mind, the Riyad staff helped with our luggage and walked with us most times.

We had a fabulous stay - The riad is absolutely gorgeous, the room is big, comfortable and very clean. Mohammed and Ali could not have made us feel more welcome.

Breakfast is amazing, every morning there were some new products and fresh orange juice. The hotel itself is very beautiful in a unique location in the middle of the old medina. The views from the terrace on top of the hotel is breathtaking. We loved enjoying the sunset over the medina every evening! The staff will do everything to make you feel at home. Special thanks to Ibrahim, Hishram and his lovely wife for taking care of us.

There is no menu, which isn't really a problem because all the food that was provided was from very high quality. However, we would like to know what are the prices of the food and drinks before consuming. Also this place is in the middle of the medina, so you can expect bugs even though the place is kept very clean by the staff.

everything was perfect and beyond

My husband and I loved our stay at Riad Palais Bahia Fes. Although, it was a short visit we were treated so wonderfully by the owner. He upgraded our room at no additional charge, he feed us breakfast and dinner each day (which was a whole feast each time) and he provided taxi drivers when we needed them. He was by far the nicest and most sincere host we've ever had. We hope to return back one day!

Our only complaints would be that finding the riad is a little difficult however there were some really nice locals that knew how to help get us back. My only other complaint was that there wasn't a trash bin in our room so that would have been nice to have.

It was a lovely sanctuary in the amongst the busy streets of the Médina. Our hosts met us in the streets upon arrival and showed us to our Riad. The hosts made up three rooms for us and allowed us to choose our favourite to stay in- at no added cost. As we spent 9hours on a bus to reach our destination we chose to have a lazy day in the Riad the next day- which was spent reading on the rooftop terrace- where our host bought us teas and cakes. It was much appreciated. Our hosts were very helpful in organising our transport and a guided tour throughout the medinas. My fiancé fell sick during our travels and our hosts graciously took us to a pharmacy and helped to translate so that we could buy the correct medications. The property is absolutely beautiful and I loved staying there- our stay was made even better with the assistance and hospitality of our hosts. Was a lovely stay and if you have the opportunity you should definitely stay in this Riad.

The staff made our stay, booking dinner and taxis for us. They were also able to offer us an upgrade for my boyfriends birthday which we really appreciated. Beautiful riad in a quieter, more local, part of town.
