Good communication with host before arrival. Easy access to the room (key was left in the apartment door for us). The room was cleaned to a high standard and the kitchen was useful. The house is located in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed saying hello to the owners cats and puppy in the front garden. We were left to come and go as we pleased.

If we had to be picky we would say that the hot water supply to the shower didn't seem to be hot enough for one of us (the other guess didn't have a problem with it however). Also, the hairdryer was old and worn and actually broke part way through using it for the first time. A replacement would have been good but no big deal as we were only staying a short time.

Beautiful views, not far from local town, pet friendly, very peaceful and quiet.

No oven or grill, kitchen untensils poor quality and hot water only luke warm. Stairs very steep to room.

Peaceful location, polite host, nice view, large room and bed, nice bedding.

The main issue was that we were awakened at around 7.30am every morning due to the shower pump making a loud noise in our kitchenette whenever people downstairs were showering. It either needs fixed or people should know about it before booking. It is a studio in a guest house rather than a studio apartment, hence noisy of other people entering/leaving the house. Bathroom was quite tired (hole in the wall due to door handle, moving toilet once you sit on, poor finish of fittings etc) and the cleanliness could have been better, such as towel heater.

The location was perfect for our stay. We could travel to chosen places and return to the tranquillity of the apartment.The location was truly dog friendly even though our little boy had a couple of early hour barking episodes .

Whilst we appreciate the building is old, the flooring is quite uneven. Unfortunately, this resulted in a trip with a bowl of food from the kitchen ,causing a little mess. However ,the owners were very gracious and understanding.

Very rural location, pretty area

Had to make every journey by car too remote and hilly to walk into town.

The property is a period property in a wonderful location high up on the valley side with great views. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable with adequate facilities to be able to cater for ourselves if we wished. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

The location and view are lovely. On a clear night, no light pollution at all....great for stargazing!!...Zoe and Phil are kind and attentive hosts, room very clean, and they had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Properly dog friendly.

...for us, nothing not to like. We were looking for a peaceful and tranquil holiday, which we found here.
