Lovely location, building, and most of the facilities. Staff were great.
No food options at lunchtime is not ideal. It would have made a great difference for us if we didn’t have to go out to a nearby town every lunchtime.
The decor and cosmetics of the bedroom were of a rustic & woodland style, but unfortunately not greatly executed. Many hard edge corners not ideal for a kids room, branches added to the walls for aesthetic but not well executed. The wooden walls of varying shades of red, black, etc was closer to quirky-weird than quirky-cool.

Great looking building with nice bar and views
Room 208 is in a side corridor, very basic cosidering itsa chateau. The bathroom stinked so bad from waste pipe issue all night and next morning so decided to leave early. When reported to reception the just shook shoulders….
Check out is by 11 but the pool doesnt open till 10 so no choice for a morning swimm. Breakfast is charged extra around £35 for 2 people and while its reasonably nice but rather limited to cerials and breads maninly, its not worth anywhere near that price range.

Location and castle grounds. Breakfast was nice too
The room was too dark, I'm sure it helps create ambiance but it didn't feel clean because of it.

The property had the best facilities for a family, pool, wellness centre, short walks.
The only thing I would have preferred is an earlier dinner seating as we have a young child and could not wait until 7:30, after a long day of walking and swimming at the pool. Beside that the food was delicious.

Loved the grounds and the atmosphere.
I would have preferred a room with a more light and airy feel. Room felt a bit claustrophobic to me.

Very nice spa area, comfortable rooms, delicious food.
The fact that there is no lunch available except for sandwiches, and that in the spa area you can't purchase snakes/drinks. The outside pool could be warmer.

Incredible location! The building itself is beautiful and so is the property. Such a romantic setting. The lounge area/bar/terrace provide a wonderful hangout spot with elegant decorations all around.
Rooms within the main building are relatively small and creaky but that is to be expected in such a historic building

Everything was great, the rooms, the spa, the location, the dinner.

The 4 persons room was very nice

The location was breathtaking. You can tell that they invested a lot of time and creativity into making the gardens and public spaces beautiful. The staff were very helpful and approachable, they helped with anything I needed.
At one point I could smell the septic tank, but only in the evening and it was gone the next morning. I had trouble keeping my room cool enough to sleep comfortably, and the pillows were not my ideal. The breakfast did not have inclusive options for dietary restrictions such as vegan and gluten-free. However, the good completely outweighs the bad, and I do hope to come again.

Absolutely beautiful location. Our room was in the stable but it was quaint and really enjoyable. Staff were all amazing and the food was fresh, local and delicious.
Enjoyed everything

Picture, perfect location, affordable mid week rate.
Buffet breakfast was not included, which meant with buffet dinner, our meal costs were more than the cost of our room.
More suited to a romantic getaway than family stay because of meals not being included.
What looked like a cubby/ tree house, was locked, looked like some sort of accommodation or garden shed.

Beautiful building, set in lovely grounds in a peaceful location.
Dinner and breakfast was superb buffet style with a huge choice
There was nothing we didn't like.

The view .. room was really nice and best cheap price of the area and you can found everything in that area.
Gallery can be much better than now

The wellness facilities are amazing, the estate is beautiful and surrounded by breathtaking views. Will definitely be coming back!
Nothing - perfect stay.
4.5
Very nice place to stay: the chateau and surrounding domain are really beautiful and cosy. Also, breakfast was well-equipped and staff was very friendly. Room was spacious, wellness area was nicely constructed and a lot of options.
During our stay, two (Big 4) consultancy companies hosted some kind of teambuilding / seminar / weekend there. This caused quite some noise in the (normally silent and calm) wellness area, as well as on the bar terrace, which our room directly faced. While it is of course normal that such things happen, a heads-up beforehand would have come in handy, as we specifically came for tranquility and ended up having a lot of noise and business around us.

Beautiful castle/relais in the beautiful Belgian country
side, with pool, small wellness area and a big park to explore.
panoramic terrace for breakfast, and to relax in the late afternoons.
Close to Dinant and other little villages to explore while in holiday
Service wasn’t the friendliest, especially at the breakfasts/
restaurant area. Nice guys instead at the bar and the pool
area.
Room with wooden wall was a bit dark as with only a small
window.

What a fantastic location and atmosphere for a stay with family! Don't tell everyone about this gem!
3.5
The pool was great, the location was quiet and a lot of grounds to walk far from the city madness
The staff spoke little English, with misleading information.
The facilities were closing very early for summertime, at 8pm. Breakfast and dinner are overpriced, but with a lot of selection, if you like the food.
The check out was horrific, with the staff that was not really able to communicate with, due to no English, tried to charge me somewhere close to 1200 euros. When challenged, they laughed and said they made a mistake, tried to charge me again for the stay, which was already paid at the time of booking. I end up paying my outstanding balance of 280 euros. Just appalling. I do not need people to speak perfect English, but thinking the hotel is advertised in England, I thought a conversational level would be expected. No other restaurants in the area, so prepare to travel.

Beautiful castle surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty. Lots of activities on site and only about 20 minutes drive to various other activities in Dinant or Namur. There was a heat wave while we were there and they included fans in the room which helped a lot. The swimming pool was also a great way for us to keep cool.
We were very happy with everything. We didn't eat dinner at the castle though as we found prices a bit high but we found lovely little restaurants in nearby villages (+/-10 minutes drive away).
You will need a car to be able to go to shops or restaurants or go sightseeing in the area.
