Very cosy, immaculately clean and ideal location for Snowdonia and the North coast of Wales.

The staff at the hotel were very kind and genuine. I was doing the UTS trail run and mentioned that I wouldn't be able to make breakfast so they made a backed breakfast for me and all the other runners. This was so helpful. They also gave us a room with a big bath that was a real bonus at the end of a long hard day.

Cannot fault the place whatsoever. Got nothing negative to say.

Lovely B&B,- comfy bed, nice views whilst we ate our breakfast and easy access to Snowdonia.
4.4
the location the views, the bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was lovely.
new Wi-Fi meant we did not have access as the install was not configured properly. the cold water is hot, but they leave you drinking water and the shower pressure is very low. overall probably the bathrooms need remodelled now.
They pushed pushed pushed their evening meal. I understand they need to plan but it was too often.

The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and polite.

the location for the property was well received by us,
slightly confused by the sea view claim on the rooms description
as we could not ?
not full value for money, it was a brilliant hotel but not
worth what was paid, I wouldn’t expect bits of peeling
wallpaper in such places but on the whole it was a good
stay

food was exceptional but one window in our room did not open

Very nice room. The common rooms, bar, veranda are very nice as well, with a beautiful view and a lot of sun. Wifi worked great. Giant bathroom with a great bath.
There were a few small imperfections, like the tap that is too close to the sink, and a curtain that fell down. But no real annoyances.

Everything really. Venue was superb - room so comfortable - staff brilliant - every need taken care of - food lovely - a lovely few days.
Nothing - couldn't fault it.

Rooms were clean and well decorated. Every detail was given a touch if quality.
That we couldn't sit at restaurant only to have soup and TV was not infront of bed

We had the most wonderful dinner! The food was first class, content, taste and presentation.
Nothing, even the weather was lovely!

Relaxed atmosphere
No bath in the bedroom & poorly lit pathway from the car park to hotel entrance.

Some of staff are friendly, breakfast service was fast
If this was £150 for the weekend you’d think it a friendly low key country hotel. As it was we paid £460 for 2 nights and had very little service, cheap facilities, drain smells and WiFi issues. All in very questionable taste and lacking all sorts of basic amenities of a 5 star hotel like conditioner, mini bar, room phones etc
In order of aggravation:
- strong drain smells coming from the loo seeping into the whole bedroom. When we asked someone to look into it we were told “that just happens” but you can pour a cup of water down the shower every Time you to flush to minimise it. Not much fun
- when we pointed out to the very rude lady at the front desk that this wasn’t ideal she said “it is ideal because it’s what I have to do”… ok thanks
- decoration looks like your granny’s house with some sparkly wallpaper chucked in. Mix of chrome and fake brass hardware, very dates despite being clean. Pictures online must be highly selective
- made our own bed. Twice
- woken up by a rat on scratching at our door
