Very outdated- breakfast ok but food not replaced regularly so that we had to ask and then wait. Rooms not insulated so very loud

Lovely comfortable beds in a very clean and tidy room. Great attention to detail.

Breakfast pastries and cakes had flies around them, I took the liberty of covering them and the bread basket with a napkin.

Buffet breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and in a beautiful room. The town is just off the A7, yet maintains a village atmosphere.

Key fob is HUGE, but you won't lose it...

A very good breakfast (particularly given the Coronvirus restrictions). The bathroom was also warm, clean and well appointed. There were nice small touches (the small Oriental rugs outside each door; a chocolate on the pillow) that suggested the hotel was once (?pre-Coronavirus) - and hopefully will again be - better than it is now.

I arrived after 3pm to find the whole place locked up and it took 10 minutes of hunting and banging to be allowed in. Partly because the (apparently once highly rated) restaurant is now - permanently - closed, the hotel has a rather desolate, dingy feel to it. The room, though pleasant, was musty smelling, and the walls seem paper thin, as I could hear the - rather loud and argumentative - people in the next room very clearly. In fairness, the elderly owner told me the next day that the Coronavirus is having a huge impact - much of what I would criticize may be a temporary state of affairs. I hope so.

Very friendly stuff, very quite place. Couldn't wish for better stay!
