Room was spacious and very clean. High quality hot spring, much better than expected
The location is a little bit far from Hirafu

Location, staff, ski rental and onsen in the hotel.
Nothing

I appreciated the attempt to centralise everything to one spot. Onsen, Lift ticket, ski locker, equipment hire, restaurant, bus, and parking was rather convenient.
Poor value. The breakfast is average bordering on mediocre. Dinner buffet has been removed now just hot pot. Rooms are very hot even with windows open maximum amount. Bus stops running at 8.30pm, shampoo/body wash is cheapest quality and so are the free in-room tea/coffee.

Green Leaf does everything sufficiently though not outstandingly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were hospitable, helpful and quick to address our queries and requests. No complains with the hotel staff (although the wait staff at the restaurant did seem quite grumpy at times). The indoor and outdoor onsen was also a big plus. Location wise, it is indeed a ski-in ski-out resort which is convenient, but you do need to take at least a couple of lifts before you reach the main ski areas. The ski lockers and rentals area were great. Shuttle buses made it quite easy to reach the shops and restaurants in Hirafu, though you need to plan your timings.
Breakfast was mediocre compared to some of its competitors in and around Niseko and the variety was lacking - they served almost identical fare every morning with only a handful of changes day to day. The lack of food options at night was also a big downside - there was only one restaurant serving a rather ordinary hotpot buffet. While rooms were clean, the decor/finishings look slightly dated.

Excellent location. Beautiful view from our room. Comfortable bed

Good size rooms located very close to the gondola
The restaurant had very limited choices and not of a good standard due to lack of staff.Felt very isolated due to limited bus service and taxis again due to lack of available staff so getting into town was very difficult

Great location right on the ski slopes.
The hotel is slightly isolated meaning you have to get a shuttle bus to access restaurants in Hirafu. The hotel’s own restaurant seems to do the same hotpot dinner every night which is a pity.

heater is very hot even I have open the upper window, our window side is nearby the ski slope, at around 3am , there is a snow press machine begin to work and made very noisy until 6 am

convenient
breakfasts quality, it was not as good as my previous stay. I stayed there 3-4 times every winter before pandemic and the breakfast was better than this year.

Ski in ski out provides lots of convenience. Great onsen after a day of skiing.
Not much food options around- have to take the shuttle bus to Hirafu for food and convenience stores if you don’t drive. Bathroom is smelly.

the room is great
the food there is not that good.

It is a ski in ski out hotel. It provides a bus service to take you in and out of Hirafu and Kutchan. Everything is so handy for a skiing holiday. We love going to the GreenLeaf Hotel.

it was ski in /out with lockers for skiing equipment and excellent staff.
Sami the restaurant manager is very helpful and accommodating. Natasha at reception also is very kind and tries to solve all your needs.
the shuttle bus from hirafu needs to have a later bus than 9:35pm and also have a stop near the hirafu intersection

1. Breakfast - great. It is not as fancy as other 4-5 star hotels, but you can get what you need. They have covered western and japanese styles breakfast.
2. Location - perfect setup for ski in ski out. The rental booth and the lockers are just on your way to the lift. You can leave all equipment there and walk back to your room clean. And a lift is just few steps away.
3. Transportation - they provide free shuttle bus to other villages, for example, Hirafu. Although it only departs from green leaf every 2 hours, but it you manage the time well it saves a lot of money.
1. Hotel Room - I understand this is a relatively older hotel, just wish they can upgrade their tv to a smart tv. There is not too many things to do after dinner time. Everything is closed.
2. Shuffle bus - it would be great if the shuttle bus can be available every hour during peak season. Niseko village does not have many places to go as opposed to Hirafu.

Great location!
Dinner food wasn't nice - noodle soup was the only option & it wasn't good quality.

The location of the hotel is great , excellent ski facilities, ski center well equipped and convenient. The reception desk n concierge is well manned and the staff are quite helpful and professional.. I would like to mention Taka -San for helping us secure booking for restaurants and recommendations
The F&B is a bit of disappointment considering we had much better experiences in the past. The breakfast buffet was quite poor, though a wide range but hardly changed throughout the week we were day. They are also understaffed and a bit overwhelmed each morning. What was disappointing was the lack of variety for dinner n lunch ie the same menu everyday.

-Location was fantastic. Located right next to the ski lifts.
-Having access to the onsite onsen as well as Hilton's onsen was great.
-A shuttle bus to Kutchan and Hirafu was very useful, on top of the Niseko Shuttle that is also available and stops right at Green Leaf.
-Made a booking for 2 single beds however we received 1 large bed which was just 2 singles pushed together, so not sure why they couldn't just separate the beds for us. Not easy for us to separate ourselves either since the bedsheet wrapped around both beds and that would mean one bed would not have a bedsheet. We asked for an extra blanket so that we could at least have our own blanket however I was told they did not hold any spare blankets. It was on about day 3 when I realise the sofa had a fold out bed and there was a blanket underneath, the blanket did not have a blanket cover so I left it on the bed the next day and the cleaners put a blanket cover on it. Not sure why they didn't tell me there was already a spare blanket in my room.
-Breakfast was a bit lacking. It was ok.
-They have coin operated washing machines, but only 2, which made it quite difficult to use given the number of guests and everyone wanting to do laundry at the end of the day.

The staff at the Breakfast were always helpful. Sam is the man and so attentive. There was another staff member who was super helpful at helping use the coffee machine

Wonderful hotel! We were travelling with our 15 month old and had some challenges managing everything. The staff went above and beyond to help us. The outdoor bath is amazing and breakfast was great as well.

not sure if it was booking.com or the hotels fault….
booked a double bed and was notified after 3 days into stay that the request could not be fulfilled. could’ve told us earlier …..

Perfect Ski-in Ski-out hotel as a family. The lift is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast buffet Wes great. Outdoor bath is great to experience when the outside temp was -10! There were many vending machines throughout the hotel for drinks and instant cup noodles. The small shop within the hotel has set up the minimum necessary items such as snacks and small ski accessories with generous price.
The heated pool was unfortunately closed. Lacking the food options right at the hotel if you don’t want to travel to Hirafu Village, where it has a lot of izakaya and sushi restaurants with the all kinds of shops, and not walkable there at all! Even though free Niseko Village shuttle bus are running to take us there but not so frequent.
I wish they can offer more cafe and restaurants right there so we don’t need to get out of the hotel. One more thing we were given only 1 key so when we went out separately it was hassle to leave the key to the front.

Spacious dining room. Buffet had plenty of food. More European breakfast items would be nice. Muesli, cheeses cold meats etc

the hotel is very close to ski lift. onsen is very beautiful.
hotel itself is very old. quite far away from Hirafu center , no taxi to get there - you always have rely on shuttle bus , which is not always convenient and. the last goes at 10 pm. breakfast and food itself in the hotel is quite poor. bar in the lobby closes at 9:30 pm , meaning there is nothing to do after that time in the hotel. better for family with kids

Ski in and out of great, equipment rental and lessons can be organised next door. Rooms clean and rather spacious. Friendly helpful staff.
Lack of food options. Only one restaurant only all you can eat for dinner, limited a la carte dining options (sometimes food unavailable). Most had to wait for bus to Hilton Niseko village for food. Very limited bus shuttle times.
