The hotel was conveniently located next to the bus stop, the start of several trails and ... the tourist shops (which come handy if you need to buy bottled water or a snack). The buffet breakfast was plentiful and excellent, perfect for a hiker's day and it took place in a large sun-drenched room with a sweeping view. The staff was nice, the bar was convenient for a snack, especially with the rather cool Spring weather.

The hotel stands alone in Troodos and has a beautiful view, dining room, restaurant, convenient location. It is the best base for all your tourist needs while exploring the area.

Hotel and setting fabulous. Food was horrendous. Particularly the breakfast offering. Walked away in disgust. Staff, all but one friendly barman, made us feel like we shouldn't have been there.

We liked the location and the room views

We didn't like the set menu. The options were very minimal.

There was no warm water in the morning. The restaurant food was terrible. Food poisoning after visiting a restaurant.

The location is very good if you want to wander around Troodos square or take a walk to nature trails. Nice view and clean facilities. Also a very cosy coffee shop next to the hotel if you want to relax.

Very disappointed this year. The hotel service was horrible because it was understaffed. You cannot expect from two people to serve minimum 30 people during dinner time and one of them to make and serve cocktails at the same time. Also, we found the rooms cold, it was 12 degrees at night and heating was on for only an hour long. Moreover, the sitting area was not offered for sitting, TVs were turned off, fireplace as well, it looked like they were trying to make savings. Also during breakfast, the same staff that worked at night were working in the morning as well, you cannot keep someone working for 12 hours non stop! Also let me tell that the coffee machine was broken and they didn't even consider using the second one that was next to the broken one covered by a cloth. It's a shame to run a hotel like that especially when only two hotels exist in Troodos area. Hope you will read my review and take it into consideration. Let me add that last year it was perfect, they even included a pillow spray, eye cream and lip balm for the guests, the fireplace was on and the staff was excellent in dinner and breakfast time. That's why I chose the same hotel this year.

Room was just right temperature. Beds were hard, but we slept fine. A fridge was put in the room as requested. We were upgraded free of charge to a room with a view. Reception were always friendly. Asked for an adapter for room as not many sockets. And they had one handy. Always had plenty of hot water. There is a convenience shop next door that is presumably run by the hotel staff too.

The breakfast was stone cold. Considering it is between 7-10, we went down at 8.30 and everthing was cold. The kettle was empty and despite many people asking, no one filled it up. The reply was 'they had no water' There was a nasty sewer whiff now and then coming through the window in the room. Probably can't be helped, but a room higher up would probably be better.

Horrible... not going back there again. Too much money spent for sleeping in a dusty old room with outdated wall to wall carpet. Sometimes there wasn't hot water to shower and when you did shower the water floated the whole room.
