The room was very clean and had an exterior window, a small enclosed balcony.

The room is part of a shared flat (with 3 other rooms) located at a distance of a couple of streets from the reception. We only received general directions of where it is and it took us some time checking the portals of different buildings until we found our own (the street numbering is strange). I believe a more detailed explanation or a small map would have helped. The walls in the flat are paper thin. You can hear every word and every movement of your neighbours, so there is no privacy at all. Also, our room was exterior, which was very nice, but it's actually located on a busy avenue, so if you like to sleep with open windows like us, it might not be an ideal place. The description says smoking is forbidden, but during our stay the common areas were stinking of tobacco, sometimes even inside our room. We are non-smokers and this was really unpleasant. It should be more explicit that smoking is not allowed (signs etc.) - it shouldn't be allowed on the "balcony" either, because it's actually an enclosed space (spanish-style balcony with windows - we liked having it but it's not an open space suitable for smokers). This is minor, but it would have been nice to have a kettle and some mugs to be able to prepare tea or instant coffee in the kitchen - only glasses and a microwave were not very useful for us personally, although they could serve the purpose.

Owner at location was very friendly and went out of his way to assist me with questions about the area.

Size, location, comfort, security and price. This is basically a flat in a very nice secure building. The location is about a block from the Hostal Abodi office. We loved the location because it was close to where daughter was studying at the University of Navarro. Short bus into town. Great friendly restaurants nearby. Loved the city of Pamplona. Location is outside the center tourist center, but it worked well for us. (Free parking at Music School near by)

Heat/cold temperatures were a bit chaotic.
