The location in Girona, just on the edge of the old town.

There should be a sunshade on the terrace. It´s a lovely terrace but too hot to enjoy lunch. A shade would also make the main bedroom a lot cooler in the evening. Secondly Internet access was poor and not attainable in the bedroom or on the terrace. Even in the living room it was just manageable.

Very friendly owner, stunning view on the river. The flat had everything we needed and more. Excellent location in the city center.

Lots of stairs to climb in order to access the flat. Parking spots are far away. (We knew all this before booking the flat so it didn’t come as a surprise)

We arrived 4 hours early with bags and they allowed us to collect the keys and leave the bags while the cleaning was completed. That way we were able to enjoy the city freely without having to worry about our luggage. The view over the river was spectacular and the two levels allowed those who were keen on talking to make noise below without disturbing those sleeping above. The apartment could not be in a better location, right in the heart of the old city but with easy access from the train/bus station. The shower was an absolute treat and the quality as a whole was far better than I had been expecting.

It did not represent a problem for me personally, but I imagine the stairs could be a serious impediment to someone with reduced mobility. Besides being a full 5 floors up (with luggage) they are very narrow and it is basically impossible for people to pass one another if they meet in opposite directions. There is no elevator. However, this is an unavoidable limitation in the old city and people who cannot handle such conditions would be more comfortable in the newer parts of town.

as many said previously, it’s quite a hike up the stairs to the top floor, but the views from the balcony compensates for that

Fantastic location, large and airy apartment suitable for four people, fully fitted kitchen (cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, small appliances and utensils), plus a lovely host (Mónica) who helped check us in.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable, but it’s fine for a few days.

Location was great, the apartment is just ok.

The price paid, the accomodation was very basic.

It was a bit noisy early in the morning due to deliveries etc to the businesses below. You did get used to it and it’s all part of being in the old town. Maybe some extra sound proofing would help

The view to the river is spectacular. Its worth the money. There are several apartments in the building. I stayed in the one that has a bedroom with a river view. I loved it. Everything else in the apartment was just fine. I found it very spacious,

You can see that the apartment has been used. I was staying at the very end of high season, I would not be surprised if during the winter they refurbish a little bit and paint over all the lines etc left by the previous customers. If I was to be pedantic about every single spot on the kitchen or lounge furniture, I would probably have ruined my holidays. It was ok so I didnt pay much attention it anyways. Please bare in mind - the building has no elevator, and for some of us it can be a lot of steps to climb up and down.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of Gerona with short walks to the main sights and shopping. Great views from the apartment.

The stairs - if you book the top flat it is 77 stairs to the door. The shower emptied too slowly so it is possible to flood it if you have a longish shower. It cost 63 euros to park nearby for less than two days. The free parking was further away and occupied by a fair, as it happened. No useful advice on parking from representative. Something wrong with the link to the apartment address, so we wasted time (with suitcases) looking for it.

Hot water ran out but I guess here must have been a booster switch somewhere.

5th floor without elevator

Location accesible to old town sites, free parking, restaurants. Comfortable bed, clean apartment with balcony view to streets and sunrise. Another window facing west in living room/ kitchen area with river view and sunset. If you are willing/able to climb narrow staircase to third floor with luggage it is fine. It became my daily exercise routine and left luggage in parked car, bringing only necessary things in backpack.

Unable to use stove. Fish/ seafood smell in kitchen. Provide usable cleaning utensils: broom/vacuum/mop. Those in apartment need to be replaced.

Amazing views from the apartment - beautiful!

The apartment was very central but we were there on a festival weekend and hardly had any sleep as the streets were noisy until 5am! Builders were also in next door banging!

Central location was fantastic, as were the views over the river; also looked out over the street on the other side. On arrival we collected the keys from Monique, who was very friendly and offered suggestions on where to eat. The apartment was a good size and the shower was excellent.

Several bars further along the street meant there was quite a lot of noise at night (the property did not have double glazing), often extending into the early hours of the morning.
