Outside noise at night a little loud

Da qualidade do quarto, da limpeza, da localização.
Muito barulho até às tantas do bar venue, e do cafezinho da caca suiça. Fazem com que um bando de bebados ficam a fazer barulho na rua. Mau para descansar.

The apartment was clean, bright and airy, in a great location
The bathroom could do with some updating. The bath was also very slippery, with nothing to hold on to to get out, we had to put a bath mat in the bottom of the bath to make it safer.
The shower head wouldn't stay up unless it was back to front, so you had to stand right up against the end of the bath to get wet!

Loved the close proximity to the beach!
Our place was cool and took awhile to warm up

Facilities were excellent as was check in. We had a problem with the air conditioning unit which meant we had to change appartment. This was no trouble. However, the new appartment was near a local bar and was noisy till 12. Both apartments were very clean, serviced every few days and I would reccomend to anyone. We would stay there again.

The beds in the main bedroom could be a double bed ideal for a couple and not 2 X single. :)

The location is perfect, halfway between the beach and the village. The pool area and apartments are very clean. The staff are exceptionally helpful. We will definitely go back again.
Maybe the bed could be a little more comfortable. And a dishwasher would have been welcome. But apart from that it's ideal.

The location is perfect, 5 mins. to beach or town. It is just beside a supermarket, restaurants and bars. It has a fine big pool with very friendly attendants. The apartments are large and spotless.

great location for beach/restaurants and old town . Bedding and towels changed and apartment cleaned mid week.
No air con in bedroom. Air con in kitchen area though.

The apartment was spacious, super clean and well located near beautiful beach and fantastic board walk. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Some good value restaurants close by. Books available to borrow. Would love to go back.

I have to say that I have stayed in Alvor many times and they were all good but Dunes Do has been a great place with everything around you

People in location are friendly as most Portuguese are but there is not a lot to see except you are going to stay on the beach and have place to sleep. Alvor compare to other Algarve cities is not very attractive and you need to go to other places.
City is not very attractive if you like to do some entertainment activities and explore

Location, so close to everything. The shortcut to the beach, the food outlets. The pool magnificent and pool attendant too. What's not to like. Just me & him but great for families.
That the sun was on the balcony for only a short time in the evening , no big deal really, but the only problem l had. To be there in the height of the summer without AC may be problem for some.
