Lovely traditional hotel in great location, comfortable and welcoming. Easy access to historic part of old town, transport options in new part of town and some excellent walks along the river gorges. Beautiful countryside.

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear everything in adjoining rooms : / Luckily you will probably sleep like a marmot so it won’t matter!

Location and staff. Walking from here to the world heritage site as well as town and restuarnts was easy.

Parking is difficult.i was on motorbike and fou d street parking very close. There is a secure car park nearby bur it is expensive.

No electrical sockets in bedroom . Bathroom sink lacking a plug . The hotel is on a busy road therefore noisy. Whilst the hotel is a short distance from Cuenca Old town and main attractions its located directly below and requires climbing over 150 steps or a steep incline. Taxis are available. It's not suitable for mobility impaired as bedrooms are on first floor and no lift.

Amazing location! Excellent price! The room was very comfy, clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful! Great for backpackers and hikers!

Excellent location - and what a fabulous town Cuenca is. Underground carpark is 100m away. €14 with hotel discount. This is an old building - with character. Staff showed me the walking route to the main square on the hilltop.

As an old building it's querky. My room was small (a single). Noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable. Breakfast was self-service but rather plain plastic wrapped pastries.

Great location to visit the town. On the main street so can be noisy. Bring ear plugs.

The mattress wasn't very comfortable, it didn't provide proper support (sank in in places). Probably needs changing.

The property was an older style with beautiful wooden banisters on the stairs and old Spanish style ruling. the rooms were lovely & cozy and it was very clean and close to everything with a lovely view from the wooden covered windows & balcony doors.

it was a little tired and could do with redecorating including fixing some very unsafe wall sockets. facilities were a little sparse. breakfast was included but to be honest I would have rather saved a few euros and eaten ‘on the road’. staff were helpful and pleasant

There is little to like here - the WiFi works and it is in a good location, that's about it. Breakfast was not worth going for, coffee not even lukewarm, some mass produced pastries and paper cups that collapse when you try and use them. Beds are hard and creaky, door flimsy and it feels unsafe to leave belongings there, may have been cleaner than it looked but felt grubby all in all. Really not good value for money if I compare it to other hostal we stayed in in Spain! Definitely looks better in the pictures than in real life.

The location is not bad - on the edge of the old town, but about 10min walk (uphill) to the Plaza Mayor. This is very basic accommodation, in an old building (no elevators). The room was small. The bathroom was small but it had been updated and was OK. The breakfast was especially minimal - an urn of coffee (i.e. not freshly prepared cups), cereals, very basic packaged carbohydrates (croissant, biscuits), no protein at all. Parking (expensive, garage) was 4 min away, but I got street parking.

Hotel was in a great location for the old town and near a good selection of bars and restaurants.

From photos on booking.com I thought we had a balcony but this was not the case. Parking difficult - no area to unload. Staff v helpful with finding underground parking at a reduced tourist rate.

Inability to unload luggage outside as we had a lot of it to carry. Staff helped us!
