The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful.

We received a room smelling bad, full of humidity, not possible to sleep there. We asked to be moved and the other room has same problem plus a glass door that was not possible to lock. The food was not good and expensive, the access to the restaurant was conditioned on a dress code (no flip flops, or bikini, etc) and the enforcement of this measure was not fair, banning some guests and allowing others to access.

The location is perfect and in a good ambience

Breakfast was served in a hall and not the restaurant, and there’s no mention of renovations on their website which I feel is not right. An errata should be in place.

Very big territory with amazing gardens, pools, ponds. Connected Golf Resort with very affordable prices. Spacious rooms. Guarded beach. Live music in the evening. The best food we had on our 2 weeks trip in Kenya. I am talking only about buffet restaurant for B&B, HB and FB. Indian dishes are finger-licking. Other restaurants are not so good. Good team of animators to play volleyball, table tennis, etc. Right at the beach, but mind tides schedule - don't think you'll be able to swim the entire day. Of course it refers to the whole coast, not to the hotel.

Huge problem with WiFi, It is a disaster. I am not talking about watching TV series online. It was not possible to work anywhere not only in the room. Their networks are like a mirage. Disappearing every second minute. Hope the management will do something in the nearest future. Beware monkeys, don't leave anything on the balcony and close sliding doors.

The property is on a cliff unlike the other hotels along the Diani Beach.

Overall a fantastic property and great service. One incident however was quite horrid, but the GM dealt with it well.

The Security Manager was a racist horrible person who belittled a friend who was joining my colleague and I for a meeting over lunch in the restaurant, causing great embarrassment. Behaviour that must not be tolerated.

We had a great time in Diamonds Leisure with my wife. The staff was super nice and the area of the resort is really beautiful. We found a great deal during the off-season so also the price was very attractive. Eating breakfast on the terrace with an ocean view was an amazing start of the day. We loved this place!

You can easily see it is not the newest hotel and some areas need improvement. It was not a big deal for us but if someone is extremely picky he/she might be disappointed. And the cost of dinner is really too high (4000 KES).

Rooms and food are average, it's a big facility so I was expecting much more. Especially for dinner, there is no separate menu except a buffet, which doesn't make sense if someone is not interested in the buffet. Also, a day restaurant on the beach is average and expensive.

We upgraded to a room with seaview and it was great to see the sunrise every morning. The food is good and plenty with every day, local, international and asian, mainly indian dishes. Staff is great.

I love good coffee so it would have been nice if that was included but you can buy it at the bar for sh 300.

The breakfast was good, there was variety. The property had a beach property, and the swimming pools were nice. The staff on the reception initially was cold but they warmed up in the end.

Well, apart from the large cockroaches in the room and getting electrocuted twice, we faced issues of racism in the hotel. Here is a letter I emailed the hotel while I’m staying which I never got a reply back…typical. “Hi GM, Reservation, Front desk, We are staying in your resort, the Diamond Leisure Beach and Golf Resort in Diani. We find the environment lovely, the rooms clean and the location ideal. We would just like to share our personal experience about how we felt that your hotel staff were racist towards us. We were on our way to breakfast this morning when we were stopped from entering. We asked why, and the two staff said that we are wearing shorts above our knee (two of us), one of us is wearing tank top and one of us is wearing beach sandals. They showed us a picture of what not to wear in the restaurant that was posted in the wall. First, this rule was not communicated to us when we checked in the day before (in the afternoon), nor was there any guidance packet in the room. You see, our room is on the D block and we would have to walk to the restaurant and back to change. Second, we felt very embarrassed when we were stopped, as people were obviously staring at us. We kindly discussed for several minutes and I was ready to head back to the room and change as I felt that the lady was disinterested of our reason, but my companion argued that we are far from the restaurant and we were not informed, so the hotel should at least extend the courtesy to let us in and have our breakfast peacefully. Which the male staff did, and we are thankful. Well, since we already there, I clarified what attire is allowed and prohibited. And the same response from both the male and female staff. They reiterated again that tank tops for men, beach sandals, shorts, for women, bathing suits, and spaghetti straps are not allowed. We went in to have our breakfast, and alas!

Loved it ❤️❤️ but provide shower robes , slides and iron box without us having to call reception. Fix the washrooms .. they clog ..,, Wi-Fi is pathetic for w gold resort Put A\c In restaurants Juice and water should be inclusive when you book half board or above !!!

The beach area was amazing. We got to experience turtles hatching and going into the ocean. The staff were polite and always ready to help. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping done very well. Breakfast variety was really good. We travelled with a toddler and were accommodated very well.

The phones in our rooms weren't functioning. We kept going aaaalll the way to the reception to ask for assistance and they kept promising they would fix them but never did. Food (dinner) variety can be better. Not too much to choose from.

Brilliant location and facilities, right on the sea front with multiple pools. Everyone was incredibly kind and happy to help us. Also allowed us to check out late as we had an evening flight booked.
