The sauna works only in the afternoon, so on a rainy day there is not much to do around the town.

stunning family built and ran hotel in Lech

This is a brilliant hotel in a perfect location in the centre of town. It’s next door to one of the two main ski lifts in town and an Inter Sport for ski rentals. The second main ski lift is a 5 minute (or less) away. The rooms were spacious, very clean, lots of storage room, comfortable beds and a really modern bathroom. I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott brand hotels and this one easily matches the higher end brands. The staff in this family run hotel are so friendly and each morning put on a great breakfast buffet with a selection of cocked eggs. Lovely selection of food and coffee. The owners were so helpful and nothing was too much for them. There is also a spa area in the hotel with Steam Room, Sauna, Foot Spa and Relax room. All this and breakfast is included in the price. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel too. If you are planning a trip to Lech, I would 100% recommend this hotel to stay in. There is no bar or evening restaurant at the hotel, but it is in the centre of town so plenty nearby. I recommend you book evening meals in advance of your stay as the best local restaurants can get busy. This hotel is excellent value in an expensive resort.
