The distance to the beach was perfect and the washing station on the deck was an excellent perk. The pool was nice and maintained. Booking, check in and check out was effortless. Clear and concise communication also delivered timely via email and or text. 5 star.On another note, we did leave our ice chests and other sandy items on our porch both evenings. Our neighbor did the same but to our surprise our ice chest were gone Sunday morning. We let our guard down and shouldn’t have. Now we know, take everything inside or chain it up somehow.

We stayed in 114-116 and each condo was great. OnlyThing I heard complained about was the sofa mattresses not being comfortable but that’s it. Other than that,the pool/hot tub was awesome, are was clean and quiet as were the condos. Great Location being steps from the beach and plenty of options for food and drinks nearby. Although construction is going on right now too, traffic either way wasn’t that bad. As always, thanks for accommodating our family, we love El Constante!

We were told that there was a previous water leak but it was fixed. So we were ok with renting this unit. We woke up to water leaking with a fast drip leaving a large water puddle on the floor. It had been raining hard and we took a video of it leaking from the window. Padre Escapes will not give you a discount from the inconvenience of the leak. They will just ask if you need more towels to soak up the water and if you want maintenance to check it but it had already stopped raining so there was no point. They didn’t offer to switch us to another unit either. There is a very apparent awful smell in the living area coming from the a/c vent behind the recliner chair in the corner. We had to buy air freshener and it still didn’t mask the smell. We were disappointed on how Padre Escapes handled this situation.

This condo was very easy access to both the pool and the beach. You were about 200 yards away from the sand and it was right by the pool, but did not face the pool so you did not hear noise from the pool. You could however hear footsteps constantly from the neighbors upstairs. Not sure if they were heavy footed or the insulation is weak here, but this was the most annoying part of the trip. The condo is no frills, but proximity to everything is nice. It could use a deep cleaning in the bathroom and shower handles, vents, and on some appliances. Also needed a cookie pan for the oven. Used the provided baking dishes instead.

This was a nice location with good amenities nearby. Great access to beach and the beach is very nice. We loved the heated saltwater pool and hot tub. Plenty of kitchen wares to making cooking easy. Parking was convenient as was check-in/checkout. Good communication from property management. But this unit needs some updating. Particularly in the bathroom. The shower head was underwhelming and felt more like a sink faucet. There was rust and other problems with the tub/shower liner that should be addressed. The shower curtain was awful. Bedroom fan needs to be balanced. There were some spots that had clearly not been cleaned, but was not worth contacting the office about, we cleaned some of them ourselves. Like the description says, this does not face the ocean, but is very close. Overall we were happy. But I think this unit is a little overpriced for the overall location and condition.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at El Constantine. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waves was a dream come true. We walked every evening to the beach to watch the harvest moon reflecting off the water. The location is perfect since its roomy, beachside and close to restaurants, shops and the city. Just okay VRBO
First the positive: the property managers had phenomenal communication and check in/check out. However the unit itself (1 bed 1 bath) was run down. For example kitchen stools broken, window shades broken, bath tub paint peeling, stained with orange mildew. These are only a few examples - the entire unit had these types of problems. The property is also a bit run down, for example cigarette butts constantly on our little porch (we don’t smoke so this was new trash added daily) I think the property needs an outside custodial staff with the property being busy.
