The breakfast was a varied and generous continental one, delicious. The bed was comfortable and we always had a great nights sleep. The hotel was close to town but situated in a quiet area.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room, nice to be able to have a nice cuppa at night.

The breakfast buffet was good 👍🏼the lady who prepared it was really kind and nice. I appreciate that when I checked in, the person at the counter asked if we would need a baby bed. Thank you for being thoughtful.

-Though it is stated that there is a “swimming pool” available, there actually isn’t really one. When I asked the front desk about it, the man told me the pool is actually a “privately owned property”, and I’ll have to ask his father “later in the evening”, if I can use it. I booked this place because of the pool. My daughter, husband and I were disappointed. -The room was really stuffy (and hot). We asked for a standing fan, but there wasn’t any available. My daughter slept for 2 hours and was awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night because she was uncomfortable from the heat. We barely slept the whole night. - There was another level above us. The guests in the room above us came back to the rook around 11.30pm, just when my daughter was ABOUT to fall back asleep. And due to the thin floors and insufficient sound proofing, we could hear EVERY CREAK on the floor, every step they took, every door they opened or closed. Horrible… I have never wrote a negative feedback here on Booking.com, this would be my first. I wish I didn’t have to, but really, I am so exhausted right now (just checked out of the place a few hours ago), that I feel it would do an injustice to future guests if I’m not honest. The hotel has a lot of potential. But they really should consider upgrading certain things, do more maintenance work, and please CORRECTLY state what facilities you have. Misleading people is really bad.
