This is an older motel, but it is maintained meticulously. The central garden is peaceful and beautiful. Staff are very friendly and informative. I was there in off-season, so it was quiet and peaceful. We stored bikes securely in courtyard. Price was fair.

Near the Cabanon Aiguillon, super for lunchtime on the shore of the Bassin d'Arcachon. Not to far from the Center Arcachon and there is a navette (1 euro Ligne 7 every day but sunday and 1st of May). I really appreciate the kindness and disponibilty fo explanations of the landlord woman.

It has got expensive. In recent years the price seems to increase each year. So much so, that we might re-consider staying again next June and next Septmber, on our driving journeys through France (and Spain) as we move from / To Ireland / Canary Islands. We live in Ireland in Summer and Tenerif in Winter

The rooms are tiny. So tiny in fact that there is no space for a normal door between room and toilet. Instead you get a really noisy sliding door you can't use at night as not to wake your partner The walls between the rooms are paper-thin. You hear your neighbour going to the loo, sneezing, coming home. The only window is towards the inside patio where people eat breakfast and sit during day and evening so no privacy No kettle, no fridge, no glass cups etc - you get one paper cup per person in the bathroom. for the duration of your stay In the middle of the summer there was no summer linen! Toilet paper holder in a difficult to get to place For anyone who does not want to use the MARINA 100 m from the hotel but is like us a normal tourist, the location is really BAD. The nicer beaches are all far away, and the city center too. If you think you can use your own car to drive closer - this is impossible for any longer duration than 2 hours, as parking for longer is not really possible in the summer (or excessively expensive in the INDIGO city center parking). This hotel is far too overpriced for location and what you get! Worst of all, once you are there and would rather not have to stay in such an accommodation, there is no way to change the booking - you have to put up with it or lose your money

Really nice location, only couple of minutes walk from the sea and easy access from train station. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. Lots of good restaurants near-by. Overall I think the stay was worth the price.
