The property is well located, only a few metres away from the Padre Pio shrine. Places of interest are within short driving distances. The rooms were clean.

We didn’t feel welcome at reception. The lady kept chatting on the phone while we waited to check in, without a simple acknowledgement. No information was given at reception regarding nearby places of interest or breakfast location/ times etc. Breakfast service wasn’t great. Items weren’t replaced soon after they finished so we just went without. Although the bedroom was clean, there was a lot of mold in the shower.

Location was excellent, close to all the holy sights, restaurants and shopping. Panoramic view from our suite was breathtaking and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

spiritual place, quite, good for retreat

booking.com website says air-con is provided; however when we checked in, aircon was switched off; asked staff and was told it was the law no aircon until 1st June 2023! misleading advertisement in booking.com; temperature that day was 30 degrees C!!

Cleanliness and also helpfulness of staff, especially Clara at reception and servers in the dining room.

clean, close to the center - although you have to walk up/down on quite a steep road - about 200 yards from the bus station and about 300 yards from the sanctuary; quiet; decent restaurant on premises offering breakfast and fixed menu (touristico) for lunch and dinner. Comfortable beds, staff speaks English and is very helpful, bathroom includes bidet, offers soap and shampoo but no conditioner.

bit awkward bathroom - the toilet is situated behind the door so you have to enter the bathroom, close the door and then you can get to the toilet - not sure if all the rooms have layout like that. There are no plugs by the beds. I only found them by desk. Also, by both beds there were 3 buttons to turn on/off lights - one of those is emitting blue light and there is no way to turn it off. I found it annoying since I like to sleep in complete darkness.

my 5th time staying here, would not stay anyplace else.

Staff at the restaurant should be more customer service oriented, specially when older people who does not understand italian.

The place, the room, and most especially the location. The staff was also helpful. What I like most is the presence of a chapel in the place. It goes very well with the fact that it is a center of spirituality.

Maybe some filtered water fountains. I was not sure if I could drink from the tap, so I had to buy water. It was expensive.
