Nothing better than after a long walk on the Camino de Santiago, to have a private and very comfortable room for yourself. Good internet, excellent bed and shower, just on the Camino for a good price. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and public transport if needed.

They let us store our bikes. close to Main Street.

Little overpriced for food and drinks.

El Retiro is located right on the Camino passing through Nigrán. It has clean, comfortable rooms, an excellent restaurant and a nice garden for relaxing or eating Al fresco. We had dinner in the restaurant and my tortilla was one of the best I’ve had in Spain. The hotel is run by a family who all are so helpful and accommodating. There are several shops and restaurants a few blocks away. The beach is a longer walk, but worth it if it’s warm enough to swim. We had a wonderful stay during our Camino.

Nice bathroom. Good value for money. On the Camino. Decent restaurant.

Had to carry my suitcase to the 3rd floor by stairs. Bedding & room decor and furniture looked dated but bath looked new.

Everything the staff were so helpful could not do enough for us,the food was fantastic and the place has a nice garden where you can sit and have a cold beer.Its a great place to stay on the Portuguse coastal camino, The staff were the most helpful and friendly that we met ,stay here if you can.

We had a stop at this hotel during the trip from France to Portugal through north Spain. The hotel is affordable including parking, well located close to the town and beach. The staff is very gentle and helpful. We had a nice dinner at the hotel. High recommended.

There's a bar downstairs but if you can get a room topfloor and facing the garden you can get a good night's sleep at a rock bottom price

El Retiro it is a very nice place to stay. The lady from the check in was very lovely to show us around and very welcoming. The room was very clean and cozy. We had a a balcony which we enjoyed and the toilet with the shower which was great. The price was very good for the value. Also, as we have been travelling with the bicycles they had a place to store it safely. I definitely recommend this place and, If I will have the chance we will definitely stay here again.
