This hotel states in its listing that it is pet friendly. On that understanding we booked the room and paid our money. Only after we paid were we told that the charge for our pet would be 500 Pesos (about 30 Canadian dollars -). Then we were told that only small pets would be allowed in the room with us and that our dog (which is a 65 pound Golden Retriever) would have to stay in a cage outside of the hotel. I pleaded with the receptionist when I arrived at the hotel later that day to allow my dog to be in the room. After much reluctance, the staff agreed to let me dog into the room but only if I posted a 1,500 Peso “guarantee of good behavior” with the hotel. My dog did behave and the guarantee amount was returned to me immediately after our stay however the impact on us having to go through this set of circumstances ensures we will never again stay at this hotel.

Extremely spacious, modern, elegant comfortable and silent rooms. It’s my second stay and this is one of the best hotels in all of Toluca valley and around.

exceptional service from the hotel staff! our car needed To be taken to the petrol station for some air in the tires on the hotel staff kindly took it there and put it back quickly. The hotel is also super clean and the beds are comfortable. Although it’s near to a main road the double glazing is exceptional and we could sleep very peacefully at night. The beds were also very comfortable. some of our relatives were staying at the Marriott and we advised them to come and stay here. They changed hotel and they agreed that this was much better!
