Location was lovely. Walking distance to swimming area, restaurants, and the view from the balcony was exceptional! 5-10 min drive to Kotor city, 5-10 min drive to Perast. None of the parking hassle or noise of staying in the old town of either place!

Amazing room with a great terrace.

Dobrota (the village where this property is situated) is in about 20min bus drive from Kotor city center, which makes it a convenient place to stay for a lazy getaway. The house stands on the main road, but don't be concerned about the noise - the area is generally quiet. There's a supermarket and a bus stop nearby, as well as a couple of cafes and at least one restaurant with good food in 5min walking distance. The beaches stretch pretty much along the whole coast line, however you only get pebble or concrete surfaces in the area. My room on the 2nd floor, a double with sea view, had a cozy balcony with a coffee table overlooking the garden and the bay (take the upper floors for the best Kotor Bay sunset view!). It was super clean and tidy on my arrival, thanks to its lovely owner Vera whom I met at the doorstep. Both fridge and tea corner were a welcome addition to room amenities, and the bus schedule was instrumental to plan my time in Kotor and beyond.

Irrelevant to the property, but potentially of use... Note you may not be able to get a beach towel anywhere near (certainly wasn't on offer in the supermarket) and the selection of sun-related solutions is scarce, so take care of those in advance.

Immaculately clean, has everything one needs, close to the beach. Lovely, friendly and helpful owner. Location is great, just 5 minutes from Kotor. We wanted to be a bit out of the crowds and this is perfect. Thank you Vera we really appreciate your hospitality. Everything was perfect

Small apartment, but it has everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and the view from the balcony are just AMAZING. The host was very helpful The area is really nice and quiet, you can take a long walk by the sea all the way to Kotor and back

It was difficult to find, beacuse google maps sends you the wrong way. But it's just ON the main road. You have to go up some VERY narrow and high stairs to reach the apartmente. We had small luggage, but it may be difficult to access with a lot of luggage. The apartment is inside the hosts' house, which made us feel we were invading their own space

Apartment was so clean. There was everything that we need. Our host Vera is so nice and friendly lady.

I liked everything. From the apartment to the super friendly host that explained me everything. The rooms were perfect! 10 out of 10, without a doubt :)

The place is outside of Kotor but on the lake. Around 5 minute walk to some lake-side restaurants, and 15 minute drive to the center. The owner gave us some tips for sightseeing (including parking places in town) and she was very friendly. The directions we received from her to find the place were helpful since the location on google sends you off the main road it’s located on. Despite being on a main road there’s no real noise during the night.

The view from the balcony was slightly obstructed by some buildings but you could still see the lake so not really a big deal. Room was slightly smaller than expected but big enough nonetheless.

Its near by the sea, the supermarket. The room was fantastic, clean, the view was amazing. The property owner is the most kindly women i ever seen. Top place. Also we got a coffee, cookie and coca cola when we got there. I would come back again for sure

Vera was a wonderful host - very hospitable, polite and ready to help. She wrote to me about the current border crossing conditions, how to get easy to her place, which road to choose back to Bulgaria and which landmarks to see in Kotor. She speaks perfect English and the conversation with her was very easy. The room was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. It had a strong Wi-Fi connection. The place was easy to find and was exactly what we expected. The private parking is a great plus. It was quiet and we had a great night rest before the long trip back home. It's close to a supermarket, restaurants and the beach. There is a great view of Kotor Bay and the small terrace gives the opportunity to enjoy it in privacy. Lara Appartments is a great place to stay for travelling couples, who came to see the breathtaking nature of Montenegro and the marvellous ancient Kotor, which is only a few kms away.

Amazing view from the balcony. Very friendly host who spoke fluently English and who gave us great recommendations about places to go in Kotor. The host also recommended a route to our home country of which Google didn't know. The host's route was so much better than Google's recommendation! She saved our trip back home.

The staircase to our apartment was very steep. Luckily we didn't have much baggage and the view we had from the top floor was absolutely worth it.
