there was not cleaning, didn’t meet the owners, no wine tasting which we looked forward to but was not available. time of year so not their fault. would have been nice to have housekeeping as we stayed 2 nights. no breakfast so would have been nice to have area to make something. as no cleaning no refills of tea or coffee which would have been nice as only enough for 1 day

Great location, 10 minutes walk from lake Bled, spacious, beautiful, peaceful appartment, nice hosts, 2 hours of sauna included!

Lovely people, check in easy and earlier than planned. Very peaceful but close to everything. Very comfy bed and everything you needed was on hand. Has a boutique feel to it and very nicely decorated - we will definitely be back, one night was not enough! lake Bled is just beautiful.

Nicely decorated and presented room with equipped kitchen. Hosts included some nice touches with cookies and chocolates upon arrival. Approximately 10 min walk to the lake.

No control over heat or air conditioning in suite. Wifi works only in room. There’s not much to do in Bled during the evening, so it would have been nice to have more TV options. (only a couple of English news channels available)

We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Special. The whole place and our room were just stunning - beautifully decorated, very comfortable, super clean. The host gave us a warm welcome and the staff was always ready to help. Lake Bled is easy to reach with a 5-10 minutes walk. For us this was really the perfect place to stay during our Bled visit. Thank you for everything!

The hotel was incredibly clean and the room very comfortable; plenty of space, comfortable bed, and everything was in new condition. We especially enjoyed having a glass of wine while watching the sun set from the balcony. Gaining access to our room was easy; the hosts were very responsive to messages via Booking.com. The hotel is in walking distance of Lake Bled and there are plently of good restaurants nearby - we highly recommend the Old Cellar just around the block from the Villa Special!

I have no negative feedback because we really enjoyed our stay here.

The room was nice and looked exactly like the pictures. There was good natural light and a comfortable bed.

The value was really not there. The room is nice enough, but for the price we were surprised. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, and for good value, there are many more excellent places around. The check in and out process was really bad as there is no one on site and no staff. I would recommend to the property to change to self check in, and charge the tax as part of the total price.

Communication was smooth, room was nice and clean and location convenient. We had a really good stay there and would recommend it to others as well

Peaceful location with easy parking and a short walk to town/the lake. Ordered breakfast through Bled Breakfast and it was so nice to enjoy the breakfast on our balcony.

Tranquil location in quiet area. Easy walk over to the lake. Treasure Room is very roomy and well appointed. Loved the crates of breakfast you can order for a fee. Nice balcony and ample refrigerator.

Housekeeping isn’t available 24 hours, so keep that in mind if you need something. Air conditioning is turned off at night.

The property was close enough to the lake, the beds were comfortable, the place was clean and nicely maintained.

We booked this hotel for the wine experience since my husband is a sommelier. We asked before arrival about tasting and they told us to check when we arrived. We then asked when we arrived and they girl said she would tell someone and we never heard from anyone. There is no desk or staff on site so it feels like you have rented a room in someones house with no staff. The reviews said there was a free bottle of wine the girl who took us to the room said it was 10 euros. A nominal fee just didn't want others to expect a free welcome wine.

The Location is a very reasonable walk down to the lake, and there is a bakery right at the corner that open at 6AM if o e if your party is an early riser. Out kids enjoyed lounging in the bean bag chairs and the Special room was more than spacious enough for two kids and two adults. The main bus stops and tourist information area are within one block on the Main Street as well. The Tale of Us restaurant just a little further away than the Old Cellar was, in our opinion, our best meal in Croatia.

The twin beds in the master bedroom rather than a double bed is not as comfortable. However, it is a minor inconvenience and this seems to be common in many of the places we have stayed at in Croatia.

The apartment is moderne and comfortabl. Tanja is kind friendly. The willcom Li queur is nice.
