The staff were pleasant and the breakfast selection was good.

Just trying to get into this hotel with a suitcase and bag was no mean feat... The two entrance doors open out, and have heavy self closures, so you can't manoeuvre a heavy case through while trying to hold the door open.. The rooms in this hotel are small and very basic. The bathrooms are very small. The space for sitting on the toilet is very restricted and the shower cubicles are tiny. I have stayed in newer Bastion Hotels and they have been great, but I wouldn't visit this one again. I stayed two nights, one at the beginning of my holiday and one at the end, both rooms were exactly the same. It seems to be more of a truck stop than a hotel as there were lots of lorry drivers at breakfast.

Good location close to main road. Breakfast good with eggs cooked to order. Pleasant and friendly staff

The location was useful for me. The bed was soft but very comfortable.

The room smelled as if the last guest was smoking quite heavily in the room. The window was open the whole time but it did not help. Hopefully the other rooms are better.

Friendly service

Very clean room and comfortable beds. Good water facilities.

Only thing i can mention is the noise. Rooms definitely not sound proof.
