Śniadanie bardziej włoskie, rogaliki i ciasto, chociaż wędliny i sery w wystarczającej ilości. Brakowało mi warzyw. Widoki z hotelu oszałamiające, mała plaża przy hotelu. Kolacja bardzo dobra składająca się z dań Liguryjskich. Obsługa bardzo miła. Wszędzie blisko: stacja, centrum, parking bezpłatny ( a to rzadkość we Włoszech-białe linie ). Przecudne miasteczko aż żal wyjeżdżać. Polecam.

Staff are all absolutely wonderful, from the night porter to the daytime front of house and the cleaners. All lovely and clean. Location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the town. Amazing sound proofing and shutters for a great nights sleep.

La mia camera era essenziale ma la vista è IMPAGABILE. Mi sono addormentata e svegliata con il rumore del mare. La mia cagnolina è stata accolta e coccolata dal personale. Il ristorante di ottima qualità. Insomma, tutto decisamente meglio rispetto a quanto visto qui in foto. Veramente complimenti.

Waldo and Iris were available at the front desk, throughout the day, to help with all of our questions and concerns. They are both very friendly and professional. The location in Rapallo is excellent for easy access to ferries, restaurants and shopping. I appreciated that, after our first day, I was asked via email what my first impressions were. Given the opportunity, I communicated issues with the pillows and bed firmness They immediately made corrective efforts to fix the issues and our 6 night stay was much more comfortable as a result. I also learned that it was more efficient to go to them at the front desk for any questions/concerns, as they were able to communicate clearly in many languages (for tourists like myself that don't speak or understand Italian), providing a much less frustrating experience for all parties involved.
With no fault of the hotel, the private beach was inaccessible due to a local water problem. Parking is very difficult and time consuming to find spaces close to the hotel....or anywhere for that matter. Again, not an issue unique to this hotel.

Perfect location by the beach boulevard with many restaurants, shops and supermarkets close by. The room was very nice and clean, bathroom was big and fancy, towels and bed linen were very soft and nice.
The air conditioning could not be monitored from the room, so we had to ask the reception to change it a bit warmer since we were freezing the first night. Breakfast did not have much gluten free options other than joghurt and eggs, so would not eat breakfast there if you are gluten free.

Quaint old hotel but tired and small rooms. We had to change rooms due to a foul stench, the staff though were very understanding and apologetic and moved us without question.

The AC kept resetting to 22 degrees whenever we left the room which was a bit too cold for us.

The view and porch from our seaside room was the best ever. The staff were also very friendly and our room was a great size.

The hotel was right on the waterfront next to Castello sul Mare and, apart from the magnificent views, it was so easy to walk to the restaurants and cafes, the ferry and the train station.
The view from our room looking out over the castle and the bay was absolutely fantastic!
The staff were always very friendly and helpful.
There is no iron at all in the hotel - they don’t own one and don’t allow anyone to bring one and use it. This was annoying when I wanted to iron crushed clothes from my suitcase.
There are a lot of mosquito breeding in the river next to the hotel, and this meant we couldn’t sit on the balcony for extended periods or leave our balcony doors open. The hotel did supply a plug-in mosquito repellant however when we said we had a problem with the mosquitoes.

Many of the staff especially in the restaurant were arrogant and rude.The hotel advertises special dietary needs and has no gluten free dishes for vegetarians on the menu.
The room was a downgrade to the booked one and that without any explanation about it.
The temperature could only be set centrally from the reception because the regulator in the room obviously no longer fulfills any function.parking spaces -there are a few in front of the hotel, but I wonder who may use them, because you can stand there as a guest only to load and unload.Maybe the staff uses them or „special guests“ who know the owner?
One must therefore try to find a parking space on a paid parking lot or with a lot of luck in a side street and even more luck you need that the vehicle remains intact by these options.
There was also a really disgusting smell in the bathroom.A kettle and some coffee and tea on the room could be expected by the prices you pay there.
Of course the view was great, but this can not outweigh everything mentioned above.
I can‘t recommend this hotel.

The only thing we enjoyed was the service given to us by Waldo.
The relation between price- and quality doesn’t make sense. we paid a lot of money for bad service, dirty rooms, infested with mosquitoes and staff who didn’t want to help. There was no electricity and I had an allergic reaction to the mosquito bites and when I complained the hotel didn’t make themselves responsible for the inconvenience. We were very frustrated at the lack of attention to the clients comfortability.

The corner rooms with sea view and balcony are exceptional from a viewing perspective. It's not big by any means but its more than sufficient for a couple of days stay. You wouldn't need more than that anyway. Also it's very close to the train station, the beach and the city center are in walking distance
A little fridge would've been useful.
