It is difficult to walk anywhere else from the property and you need to be reasonably fit if you have one of the rooms towards the back of the resort as it is a steep walk up

Great food in the restaurant, very helpful and nice staff and our Villa has a well equipped kitchen and all you could need. Excellent snorkeling just outside the hotel.

We booked for 2 adults and 1 child (3years) however breakfast was not included for our kid in the price. So we had to pay extra for a bed and breakfast for her.

It was easy to communicate with the property over WhatsApp, they addressed all my questions and even arranged transport. The room was spacious and very comfortable, it was cleaned everyday. There was a large balcony as well overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was hearty and quite filling, perfect for diving days. Bali Reef Divers is connected to the property so it’s very convenient to organize dives. There are two good sized pools as well. I didn’t have a scooter but they made it easy for me to go and come back from the main Amed strip.

Just know that it’s not in Amed centre, there are 3-4 restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, but most places are about a 10 minute scooter ride away. The restaurant on the property is pricier than nearby options.

The location right on the beach front was idyllic. The room, with balcony providing a beautiful sea view over the palm fringed swimming pool, had all the facilities we required and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We ate at the restaurant every evening because the food was excellent and the views stunning, so we did not see the need to risk trying elsewhere.

No transport available, weather was horrible. Staff was kind and rooms really cosy. There was not much to do in the wet season. Snorkeling was available, but really hard due to weather conditions.

Absence of Grab, overcharging local drivers, not able to walk due to dangerous, wet and small roads. Rain every day.

Puri Wirata was just what we needed after our stays in busy Kuta and Sanur. Quiet and very relaxing. Our room was large, and the bed was comfortable. Ask for #28 for corner room with sea and volcano views via huge glass doors facing north and east. Staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed near daily massages, the pools, and good meals. Try the curries and Vietnamese spring rolls. Large breakfasts with good bread. Total price for room, three meals a day, spa treatments was very reasonable. Less than $100 US a night.

Room (shower and baseboards, for example) could use deep cleaning. Roads in Amed are rough with no sidewalks and limited transportation. No Gojek. Will need to walk, rent a scooter, or mostly stay put, as we did. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant.

amazing staff. lovely grounds, spacious rooms. felt like I had full time private staff, they took care of everything. wonderful snorkeling just in front with a dive shop onsite to rent nice gear cheap. also visited the Japanese wreck site. enjoyed a nice massage with ocean view. included breakfast is quite good and lunch/dinner dishes were very nice. happily recommend

Amazing villa, very spacious, clean and well equiped with everything you might need even for long stays. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you're having a good time staying there.

The staff and service were amazing from the receptionist to the driver to the spa personal to the chef to the hospitality staff! Very clean and organised. Great place and awesome views.

It was also a bit far from the airport.

The premises are gorgeous - going out my lovely appartment/villa, I was going down stairs to the pool, and then the beach, picking frangipani flowers on the way... The whole team (including the ladies at the spa) are kind, authentic and professional. Honestly the service is 5-star level.

Everything was well maintained, clean and tidy, still a beautiful relaxing place.

During Covid times there was no restaurant open for dinner, only breakfast and lunch, but we understand why.

This is a great place, beautifully maintained, clean and fantastic staff. We could not find a thing wrong in the entire place, great water pressure, clean bathroom, comfy bed, a real credit to the management and staff. We will definitely be back.
