We booked the lake view room and we loved it, you wake up in the morning, open the window and you’ll see the beauty of Hallstatt (lake, mountain and traditional houses). Location is near the marketplace and museum. We asked to arrive early, since the room were ready, they allowed us to check in an hour early, they are also responsive to messages.

We didn’t find any fault, there were instant coffee available as well if you arrive and need something to drink while resting.

She was incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check in early so that I could settle in and start exploring the beautiful surroundings right away. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were of the highest quality, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. What really made my stay at Pension Hallberg so special, however, was the level of hospitality and care that Tamara provided throughout my visit. She was always available to answer my questions and offer recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. The guesthouse itself is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery and offering easy access to local attractions and activities. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an action-packed adventure, Pension Hallberg is the perfect base from which to explore the area. No Negative Points from my side.

The staff was really friendly and respectful. It is located at the heart of the city center and has amazing views. I traveled solo as a remote worker and I couldn't have a nicer stay. Totally recommended.

Kitchenware like frying pans aren't very suitable for cooking if you wan't to save some euros from the Hallstatt prices

The location was phenomenal. Tamara, the manager, was very welcoming and accommodating. The room with a view was amazing, bed comfy and Netflix available. Very clean, spacious and all round nice atmosphere. There is access to a toaster and kettle etc which is very useful. Please be mindful that all places shut in the evening in Hallstatt so grab some snacks and avail of these if required. Be sure to ask them about their Cafe and check it out. 😊

Very friendly and open staff, familiar place directly in the middle of Hallstatt. Big and cozy appartmants with direct view to the lake. Full kitchen equipment helped us prepare breakfast and dinner for ourselves..

Mid-level crowd on the streets, can't imagine how it is in summer when overturism takes full effect.

We had a wonderful experience at the Pension Hallberg. Stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed the every moment of it. The studio was clean and very comfortable. It has all the necessary amenities as well as coffee, biscuits, snacks etc. The location is perfect and especially the view was amazing. The owners are very sweet old couple. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were really nice, helpful, shared good tips about the area and always greeted us with smile. On New years day they shared a delicious cake with us too. They were flexible with the check-in and check-out time as well. Would definitely stay there again. I'd highly recommend.
