Cleanliness, Area and the rooms

Room was cold as the heaters comes on automatically and were not on the nights I was there. But I there were prenta of duvets to use. It wasn't á big deal.

good place, use of kitchen to cook own food was nice.

didn’t receive the info for the key box before hand and the host didn’t answer my calls when I arrived. was lucky that another guest was present to at least let me into the place, otherwise I’d had to wait 45 minutes before I received a reply on my email for the keys. Felt the springs of the mattress in the bed also, not really comfortable.

Great place if you're looking for budget accommodation

Easy to lock yourself out of your room and it not being a hotel means there is no concierge to help.

It was a good spot to take a few days off from walking the coastal path. The kitchen has everything you need and the garden is nice to sit and have a morning coffee.

It's a shame there was no TV in the lounge or my room

There is no TV in the front room or bedrooms to relax with, I stayed in single room and the mattress is very uncomfortable, springs coming through. Not some where I'd chose to stay again with out some upgrades.

I ended up having to get a taxi to find somewhere else 25 for taxi then travel lodge 216 for 3 nights

Everything. Never met owners. Sheets and pillows not ironed. Stains on carpet.

The area was very peaceful, bed was comfortable and overall was a lovely place to relax.

The WiFi didn't always work, it mainly worked later on at night.

Rooms are clean and the location is great

it's OK as I was there for sleeping after a night shift.

2 of the rooms are really nice. Lovely garden. The downstairs is cozy and comfortable. Staff were flexible about me changing my dates. Best value for money in Devon.

I stayed here several weeks and in that time there were issues with the heating. Rooms were double booked. People didn't have the correct key code. The bed in room 3 is SO uncomfortable. The blinds at the front don't keep the light out.

The kitchen was good and the dining room fine. The shower was hot. The house was warm, well maintained, clean and tidy. Overall good value for money.

The keys are an absolute nightmare, I even got locked insife my room and was only saved by passing my keys under the door to a neighbour. When I complained to management about this the lady suggested I didn't know how to use door locks and that she'd put a video on the net to illustrate how to work the snib!! Then she said she'd organised for a locksmith to come the next day (there were problems with other rooms as well) but there was no sign and I had to leave the room unlocked for the duration whilst I was in. The location is a £4.70 return journey by bus (no. 44 or 44A) to anywhere decent. There was no information on this in the house despite asking the managment for it. The kitchen could do with a microwave.

Myself & my friend booked for 6 nights, we only stayed for 1 hour. Room was stuffy & dark, bed was very bumpy. Bathroom carpet was all crumpled. Having just entered the property. Another person arrived shortly after us who had been booked into the same room. Very shabby all round.

The landlady was too kind and quick to respond
