The room, bed, pillows and the bathroom was clean. They gives you 3 different type towel for 1 person and it’s enough. Also they gives you bath slipper. The woman at reception knows English, don’t be afraid of understandable. To sum up, it was great experience.

If you carry a lot of luggage, you need to remember that there is no elevator. That was no problem for us because we only had small cabin size luggage. Also, you need to get a bit lucky with public parking space.

booked a 2 bedroom suite, received a bedroom, and a sitting room converted to a bedroom. no sitting area or door between rooms…and I booked in advance.

Great location for exploring the main Sofia sightseeing spots. Quiet and with a good atmosphere of an old Bulgarian house. Friendly staff.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of local sights and public transport links. Staff were very friendly and helpful! They gave us tips for parking and offered suggestions for sights and tours. The room was comfortable and very clean with lovely retro interior. There was a small safe to leave valuables which was a most welcome addition, though it would have been even better if it were with a passcode rather than a key.

Nothing negative to say, our stay was great! One minor thing that could be improved was the shower. There was no curtain or shower cubicle, allowing for water backsplash to cover a lot of the floor, making it a slip hazard. A mat was provided, but extra care had to be taken nonetheless.

Can't think of anything. Needing to make special arrangements if we wanted to arrive after 1800 hrs in this small house was not really a problem, and once we realised that the young lady who went home at 6pm was back early to do our breakfasts in the morning, we fully understood.

Everything was quite good. The location was perfect, and the room was clean. Staffs were amicable and welcoming. Breakfast was quite acceptable with this price.

When we arrived there was a very friendly girl coming to the door to welcome us, which was already a very warm welcome. The guest house is really beautiful. We loved our room a lot, felt a bit like we had our own apartment. It was very quiet, which was amazing. Bathroom and shower were really nice as well. Comfortable beds: all in all, really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay. The only thing that could have been better for us was the breakfast. Would have been nice to have some fruit or tomato/cucumber with the breakfast. Breakfast was toasted white bread, cheese, an egg, jam, honey and two slices of ham.

The wonderful young lady on reception was very polite and helpful, with a very speedy check in. The breakfast was very nice, with toast, egg, ham and a variety of cheese, honey and marmalade, as well as a range of cereal and fruit drinks and to wash it all down with, was a very tasty morning coffee.The room a a good size for a family of 4 and very clean and well presented, with comfy beds. We will stay here again on our next visit to Sofia, as it is situated in a good location, with everything in walking distance.

There was nothing not to like..it was perfect.

Polina, one of the receptionist, was brilliant, always happy and helpful. The hotel was well located, short walk up the hill brings you to Sofia church, Nicholas church (with gold roof) and Russian church nearby too. The hotel was clean and secure also. Rooms were warm and had air-conditioning. Also rooms have kettle and fridge.

I can't say I didn't like it, I just found the breakfast a little repetitive. There was several types of juice and cereals to choose from and teas or coffee which was great. But the main breakfast never changed - toast, cheese, ham and a cold boiled egg. It would have been nice to have a hot egg or scrambled eggs etc. But I think the this is because the receptionist has to prepare the breakfast as well as cover reception so hasn't got the time to cater for anything more complicated. TV reception not that good on some channels and just Romanian TV as far as I could see. Though not a big deal, occasionally found a channel showing undubbed English speaking film.
