Clean and as comfortable as home with a great view and support from the property manager was outstanding. We hope to return.

We spent a week in this lovely villa and enjoyed every minute. The home is lovely but the views are fantastic! The drive up was easy. The place is well equipped. The decks and pool are awesome. Other than just staring at the views, our favorite was listening to the night sounds... We will be back!

My husband & I went alone to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The place felt homey, nicely decorated & your essentials were provided also. They also provided a Keurig & regular coffee maker. The pool was a lifesaver & we enjoyed it very much. The privacy was nice also as the lush landscaping was beautiful & the nature of the outdoors was awesome! We would definitely recommend this home & hope to go back one day. Oh, and the views will never be forgotten!

We had such a great stay at this property. The property manager did a great job of communicating with us prior to the start or our trip and on the day we arrived. We were escorted to the property, given a tour and absolutely delighted to see a variety of things to eat (hummus with veggies, pasta salad, etc) in the fridge. An absolute blessing after 12+ hours of travel. The property itself was wonderful. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen had everything we needed (minus olive oil). The AC was fantastic after a long day in the sun and the beds were fairly comfortable. The private pool was WONDERFUL and the view is absolutely unreal. We enjoyed watching the various birds and hummingbirds in the trees. The beach chairs and cooler were appreciated and great to take to the beach. Plus the extra beach/pool towels came in handy. The drive is steep but we never had a problem getting up the hills and the property is exceptionally quiet and private. As someone who vacations to get away from people and the hustle and bustle of every day life, this space was absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to come back

The views are breath taking. The pictures can never do it justice. We had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the island itself but couldn't wait to get back to this lovely spot each day. The beds are comfortable. I typically feel like I need to do a little cleaning when we arrive to a rental and that was not the case here. It was clean and comforting. There was great communication throughout the rental and arrival process. We can't wait to come back.

Property is spacious and beautiful. The views are every bit as good as the pictures. Location is excellent - on the quieter side of the island. Easy to access the beaches, and the beach chairs and coolers provided by the property were very helpful. Some of the reviews mentioned the road. The property is at the top of a high hill, which is why the views are so spectacular. Put your car in second gear and head up the hill. The cars with automatic transition have the option to switch to manual, which helps give your car the extra push that will make it seem like no big deal to head up the hill. Btw, there are hills like this all over the island, so you’re going to go up and down them anyway when headed to beaches. This place was the perfect home base for a getaway to just relax and enjoy the beaches. There are restaurants nearby too, and there’s no real need to go to the busier Cruz Bay side except for the ferry and if there’s a particular restaurant you want to visit. I’d recommend buying gallons of bottled water for drinking, and bring water bottles for the beaches. A no-doubt 5 star property!

The steep road led us to Blue Bay View, a clean, pleasant retreat with great accommodations. The villa is private and very clean. The multi-level deck let’s you move to shade or sun, while enjoying an Easterly gorgeous view. It is on the simple side, but fulfills many needs. The vegetation has recovered from the last hurricane. The management team took great care of us. Great for a couple or two and not to far from hiking and snorkeling.

The images of Blue Bay View are what prompted me to book it. It did NOT DISAPPOINT. The views are amazing from all of the decks, the sunroom, and the bedrooms! We were able to see iguanas in the treetops (late afternoons), hermit crabs all over the grounds and didn't have any trouble with bugs being so high on the hillside (I'm assuming). We did get to see many goats and donkeys on the road in and out, and even some goats taking up residence in the property next door under construction. The roads are steep and rough in places, but not as bad as I had read, so fear not when you read other reviews about how scary they are (just make sure you have a jeep :)) This location is perfect, in my opinion, to experience the island YOUR WAY. Coral Bay is quieter than Cruz Bay but Cruz Bay and the beaches are a short drive away. If you want to relax at the end of the day - this is where you want to be. Waking up to coffee and sunrises while listening to the island come alive (and by that I mean roosters and donkeys baying) is one of my favorite takeaways from this trip. JP and the property managers were so easy to work with. We will definitely return to Blue Bay View!

Everything was perfect! We love the quiet and gorgeous view. We are very used to the curvy steep roads as we have been to Coral Bay a week or two for past 10 years. Try local Coral Bay eateries and markets. See you next year God willing.

Loved our stay here! The check-in and check-out processes were simple, and meeting JP was easy to arrange. The house was clean, and the kitchen had everything needed and then some! The decks had just amazing views, but my favorite was probably waking up each morning and seeing that view right out the window! The pool was too cold to use, but it did look refreshing. :) The stairs between the two levels are outside of the house, but not an issue for us, even made it a little interesting (dare I say fun!) when there was a little rain. The road to the house is steep, yes, but it's what you'd expect on an island like this. The driveway only had a slight incline from the road down to the parking area, and was easy to navigate in and out of. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful views from this property! Villa was very clean and well stocked. Outside areas (pool, grill, counter, sitting areas) were a huge plus. Bedrooms are downstairs (outside stairs). Communication with JP from the property management company was quick and easy. The roads to the house are steep, but so worth it! Hoping to come back soon!

Enjoyed our stay here. House was large enough yet still cozy making it just the right size for 2 couples. Beds were especially comfortable and we loved being able to float around in the pool at the end of the day after hours of snorkeling. The view was beautiful and could be enjoyed from the pool, deck, dining room table and bedrooms equally. Nice touches were the provided toiletries and a delicious welcome snack pack from North Shore Deli. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay, already recommended to friends

The rental was clean and the view is better than advertised! This is a great location near Coral Bay but still only a short drive to the beaches. I would absolutely recommend renting a four wheel drive vehicle, as the road up to the property is very steep. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Bay View. The house is exactly as pictured. JP was extremely helpful by meeting us and getting us to on the first day. (Thank you for the treats!) He also helped get our car rental mechanic to the house when we had a problem. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. We cooked several dinners in and it was nice to have a place to pack snacks/lunches for beach trips and walks. The view is spectacular and the pool refreshing. Would definitely recommend to any of my friends and will return if we should come to the island again!

We were impressed at how accurate the pictures of the home were when compared to real life. Blue Bay View does not disappoint! The home was very clean and comfortable. It felt like our house within the first day! Upon arrival, we were met by JP from the management company in Cruz Bay and we followed him to the house. This was super helpful for our fist time driving on island. The drive up the mountain is challenging but we were used to it within a day or so. We loved staying in calm Coral Bay. We went to Cruz Bay often but were so happy to relax when we got home. One of our favorite nights was spent grilling dinner at the house, playing tiki toss, and hanging at the pool. If you can get your hands on this house, do it. We are so glad we did!!

Blue Bay View has the most amazing views of Coral Bay, beautiful sunrises and welcome breezes. The property is exactly as listed. Three levels of outside space was just perfect, upper deck for happy hour, hanging at the pool after a day at the beach and outside dining/BBQ area. The driveway was a little tight, our expert drive-in the group found backing in worked best for us, easier to head out on the next adventure.

We loved our stay here at Blue Bay View. The location was perfect. The most amazing views, private, and quiet. At night you can hear music from the Salty Mongoose. The hosts were great with communication and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was great to come back after a day out exploring and being able to relax on both decks and enjoy the pool. We cannot wait to come back.

We stayed April 2-5 was even better than we had hoped for very clean spacious and quiet loved the sounds of nature and the views were picture perfect star gazing was amazing we hope to go back soon

Exactly as the pictures depict. The views of this property are incredible and it was the perfect home base for our stay on St John. Enjoyed being on the quieter side of the island. Highly recommend!

The home was everything we needed. The host provided a delectable basket of assorted deli foods! Loved seeing the stars at night and the twinkling lights across the hillsides. So convenient having a dishwasher and washer and dryer on St. John. We're returning next year for two weeks!

My husband and I went to St. John for our 20 year anniversary. This was our third trip to the island. I wanted to make this trip extra special since we were celebrating a wonderful occasion. I found this property because I thought it looked like a nice place to spend our 10 nights on the island. The property exceeded our expectations. It was clean (except for some ants in the kitchen), cozy, well maintained, and offered breath-taking views of Coral Bay. The beds were comfortable, the furniture new, and the deck and pool were a very nice addition. The only thing we were disappointed with was no cable access on the TV. There is only streaming service. However, that was not a big deal since we spent our days at the numerous beaches on St. John. The next time we come to the island, we will stay here. I felt like it was home away from home. Communication with the property manager was easy and he was very helpful in making sure we made it to the property without any hiccups. I wish I was still there! Maybe soon I'll be able to rebook and spend another 2 weeks in my home away from home. Highly recommend!

This villa is stunning inside and out. Top notch. And the welcome goodies in the fridge were a very nice touch. Would highly recommend especially if you want to get away from it all.

Amazing property in an amazing location! We loved the beautiful views from the pool and deck. We grilled out plenty of nights with the wonderful grill and patio area! Every day we picked a different beach to visit. Pure paradise!! It was great working with James Miller Properties as well!

The house had breathtaking views. It was clean, very comfortable spaces, beds and amenities. It doesn’t get much sun for the pool so we mostly went to the beach. We had a couple of minor issues and the property owners/management responded immediately and took care of the problem. Coral bay had the best views but it is quite a drive to get to Cruz Bay!! Definitely a great accommodation if you’re looking to relax and stay more in Coral Bay.

The house was as described, but the views were breathtaking and endless. Beach towels and chairs were a huge plus. We can't wait to come back.

I recently stayed at Blue Bay View at the end of August and can’t wait to come back! First and foremost the home was amazing, clean, comfortable and cozy with everything we could ever need and more. The views was absolutely stunning, I woke up early each morning to capture the sun rising and I’m not even an early person. The location was soo close to the beaches which is how we spent our days. The drive was scary as most people stated lol so a Jeep is necessary but you get used it after a few days! We will definitely be back! Also thank you to James who was great, responsive and just sooo professional! All in all great property and great time!! Lola

We had such a wonderful time at this home! The views are stunning, the whole house is clean, and the decor is comfortable and relaxing. The driving around St. John was a blast! We took cool time lapse videos driving up and down the hills. The pool was clean and had views as advertised. Only thing is don’t forget your bug spray!

We will be back!!
