The bed was comfortable and the location is central.

It started with the check-in: we had to wait about 30mins and the coffee we shall have during the waiting time actually was not free at all. The room was very small and clean on the surface but filthy in the detail: the watercooker had a really bad smell and lots of water in it, super dusty underneath the bed etc. The shared toilet facilities were not cleaned "continously", litter on the ground was still there the next day. The provided shampoo/shower gel was just a fake, they have been always empty. The sink in the room leaked heavily, the water spoiled and released way too much water on one press. Some of the personal was ok but most were rude and did not wanted to help in any way. They even told us lies like the locker room is full or there are no rooms available but on booking they were listed as available. The washing machine was very dirty and the clothes washed in it got a bad smell from the machine. The window in the room was non functional, you could not proper open it and we had to put something in between to keep it open. It was very noisy, noise from the bar underneath and from people on the street.

Bunk bed could have been bolted to the wall. Bed shook when the person below moved.

Room was quiet, room and bathroom was kept clean. There was enough space to move around and baggage could be locked up securely

Providing passport/ ID when booking the stay on the website is not clearly indicated. This caused stress when arriving at the premises without the documents. Bank card was not accepted as sufficient evidence.

We booked through a different site and didn’t book through the st.Christopher inn website . But the various ads advertised doesn’t really inform you that you cannot avail the free breakfast if booked through a third party website . It could have been more clearer or the ad advertised only on the hostel website and not on every site . It’s misleading as such . Kitchen facilities could have been better . No drop of water to drink in the kitchen . Say , a person is thirsty,they cannot go to the shop to buy a bottle of water in the middle of the night. That’s all . Thank you.
