Host was very nice and had excellent communication. Answered all questions promptly!

Property was great. The only problem we had is the guest bedroom bathroom bathtub faucet upstairs would not shut off, so we had to deal with noise of running water overnight. Also, the water would not get hot in that bathroom. We emailed management and they said they would notify maintenance but no one ever came out to repair.

The property was beautiful. Our entire group enjoyed the stay. The home was updated but the living room furniture could have been more sturdy (a chair’s leg gave way as I sat on the chair) and comfortable. JZ Rentals was very responsive to my reporting of the chair and made sure thatI wasn’t injured. The property was centrally located and we were able to get to all attractions within 15 minutes.

This property was exactly as advertised and was actually more spacious than expected. We were visiting for a baby shower/to see friends and we were really only at the house to sleep and shower. Everything was very clean, nicely updated and the beds were comfortable. We never used the kitchen but it was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. We didn’t have children with us but there were some toys and children’s items that would presumably make it easier for families. Good location and Ubers were plentiful. Check in and out were simple and host was communicative. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I (four adults) stayed in this townhouse property so we could be in town for a graduation. We wanted something more than a hotel room so we could have a larger space to relax in. The house certainly provided that--the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the kitchen spacious. A few factors, however, negatively impacted our stay. As of May 2024, this property is next door to the burnt-out husk of a building. While the renters have done everything they could to minimize the lingering smell of smoke, its still noticeable when you first arrive to the property. Also, the car port in the rear of the property is open on one side, allowing easy access to cars parked there from the alley. Lastly, the lounge furniture was a touch uncomfortable. Overall, the property itself is a good weekend get-away but the issues with the burnt-out building next door make me hesitate to recommend it.

This was a very comfortable and well equipped rental and we enjoyed stay immensely. The property was very thoughtfully and meticulously renovated. The rooms were spa and quiet. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The neighborhood was quaint, querky and perfectly located close to a variety of sites. The property owner communication was fast and effective. This was a great stay!

Rented the house for a short family vacation in St Louis, great location to get to local attractions. There is a Sweetwaters coffee and tea place that we walked to each morning. The only thing i would have done different are the days, a lot of restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesdays which limited our options. Would rent again!

We had a great time staying here. Just a few minor things. The TV in the living room area does not work properly. We were too busy to watch it but still. The couch was extremely uncomfortable but since we couldn’t watch TV and rarely sat there anyway, it didn’t really matter. I loved the master bedroom and bath. I felt like everyone had plenty of room. We really enjoyed being able to grill outside and liked the spaciousness of it all. Everything was very clean, which is huge to me. I would bring some washcloths though. We only had two and had to buy more. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice house which looked like a lot of nice work done for updates. There was a slight issue with the back door which can be repaired. The neighborhood could use some additional updates but that did not distract from the house itself.

House is child friendly. Grandson was thrilled to discover the container of toys.

Very clean with a well appointed kitchen. It was easy to get many places, and since we wanted to go to the botanical garden, it was perfect. I would alert people that the bedrooms are upstairs, and the steps are a little narrow and steep.

We absolutely loved the house and the location!! The only issue was the tv needed to be replaced because the sound was going out. But other than that it was a great experience!!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. When we arrived the garage door would not close. We called JZ and the maintenance person came to fix it within 30 minutes. Our family would stay here again in the future.

Great house in a transitional neighborhood. Lots of room for meals and family gathering.
One of the rooms has a double bed, which doesnt show on the listing.
Most bars and restaurants within walking distance are closed Monday through Thursday.

Our family of 6 stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell the owners really care about the details. This was particularly evident as a family. Everything you'd need for a baby was already there. We were surprised we could have left several things at home because the house already had them. And several things we forgot ended up being there already!
The house was very nicely remodeled and made us wish we could stay longer.
The garage was a very nice touch, but be aware this is a pretty urban location so space is tight!

Cute neighborhood, had restaurants that were walkable which was really nice- Very close to downtown. House is completely renovated. Felt very clean and had a high chair and pack and play which was convenient. The only con is the furniture. The 2 chairs and couch are more decorative and less comfy and with little kids we were back at the house a lot and there wasn’t a lot of space to sit / be comfortable. Aside from that - great stay!

We really enjoyed the house and had a great time. Host was very responsive and helpful when contacted. Great to have a secured parking spot but be mindful if you have a longer vehicle, the alley and turning radius into the garage will take a few points to line up. Longer and taller vehicles (ours is a suburban and barely fit) in the parking spot with about 3 inches on front and rear. Most cars will not have any issue.
This really was the only thing that stood out and we really enjoyed it

Beautiful clean home , cute trendy neighborhood, and the greatest perk Is that they have a great 2 car garaged and a lovely fenced in yard. The beds are super comfortable and a huge common area downstairs
Keep in mind it's not quite stocked the private owned vrbos , make sure to bring baggies, foil, cling wrap and a sharp knife if you plan on cooking but the kitchen is big and beautiful
The customer service/ communication is the BEST

Our stay was great only had a few issues but absolutely nothing major. One is the upstairs rooms took a little time to warm up until we discovered the vents had been closed, so that was a easy fix, next was the Television in the living room, we could not get on any apps such as Netflix or YouTube and also, only one of the 3 bedrooms had a television in it, that was a negative but we wasn’t there most of the time so that took care of that. And the last thing was we got 2 warnings within in about 10 or 15 mins(maybe a little less) of each other, about noise but that was totally our fault, it was 3:30 in the morning and we wasn’t ready to stop hanging out when we got back from the bar. We cut the music and continued to enjoy our stay. Overall our stay was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grove! The house was spacious, clean and in a great location. The wide open kitchen/living room
Was nice for cooking and being able to spread out. The garage in the back was a nice added bonus. The unit was extremely quiet and I felt safe, although I would likely not walk around at night alone.
The suggestions I have are that the master bedroom gets extremely cold at night even with the furnace running. However, the other two bedrooms were nice and warm. Curtains in the bedrooms would have A been a nice touch to make it a bit darker at night.
The living room could have used some more sitting spaces (maybe another couch), but overall very cozy!
We would absolutely rent this space again. The rental management team was very communicative and easy to get in touch with. They let us check in early and they were extremely friendly, polite and easy to talk to.

Great location for tourists looking to experience downtown St. Louis. Super close to the Enterprise center and Anheuser-Busch. Vrbo was clean and had a great old brick feel with modern updates.

Really well done row house in a great STL location. The Grove neighborhood has a ton of fun restaurants and coffee shops. Within 2 miles of the house is more than you could ever do in a St. Louis stay. It's a great locale to bring bikes and hit a bunch of cool stuff- zoo, Botanical gardens, art museum. The house was super clean and nice. Exposed brick and wood floors. The living area hang out spot is not comfy, but wasn't a big deal. Overall a great location, house, and host.

We stayed here for a girls weekend. The home was as pictured and described and was the perfect size for our group. Very clean and well stocked. It was nice being able to park in the garage. Great neighborhood that was about 10 minutes from all the various things we had planned.

We used this house as our base for a quick weekend getaway. Loved the location as no matter what attraction we went to/from the house was 10-15 minutes to them all. The listing was as stated. No issues with the neighborhood or street parking as we didn't use the garage/car porch.
The beds were comfortable. The house allowed us to spread out in our "down" time. We didn't cook, but all the appliances appeared to be newer. The check in/out process was as easy as any place we have stayed. Definitely a place to utilize again if we visit St. Louis one more time.
