Amanda’s hospitality was exceptional. The room was (along with the dining room) beautifully decorated, very comfortable and had a beautiful fire.

We liked all of it.

A warm welcome from the host - nothing was too much trouble. Spacious, clean, well-appointed room with a comfortable bed and all the expected amenities. Fantastic breakfast in a friendly dining room.

I was totaly happy with the whole experience. As a previous visitor had commented the bathroom was large and good.

The accomodation was good and the location was opposite a park and I did not notice the traffic although on a busy road, There were many resteraunts within a short walking distance,

Easy to find & parking on site. Easy 20 minute walk into town. Lovely friendly welcome from Amanda (lovely lady) and great breakfast. Would certainly return.

The b&b was a old victorian house, lots of rooms, and large bathroom, bath was lovely and deep, breakfast good, the only criticism would be the leather sofa dumped on road near the drive, first impression wasn’t good

I didn't like that I couldn't lock the door of the room when I left to go out for tea. I didn't feel like my valuables were in danger as the home felt like a home from home. Just think it would be better if I could of lockd the door

Very welcoming host Amanda and her dog. It felt very homely and our bed was comfortable. We weren't sure about the parking when we arrived as it was a bit tight but were reassured all was well by Amanda and we didn't have any issues. We liked the location for the event we were attending and that we could come back at a late hour without feeling bad. The breakfast was very tasty with made to order eggs.

There was no lock on our bedroom door (internal/external) No milk for a nightime or early morning brew.We had foreseen this when out but couldn't buy any late at night so went without. Little uht milks or a mini fridge would have been a nice addition to the teas and coffee selection. The communal dining with big central table to sit at with other guests to have breakfast was a bit awkward. Luckily we had been to the same event so we could make small talk.

Comfortable bed

If you shut the bedroom door you could get locked in. There was a smell of drains in the bathroom.

Nothing of any consequence. As we had a room at the front of the property there was some early morning traffic noise with the window open. But not a deal breaker, Lovely Amanda said if we came again she would give us a rear bedroom :-)

Great location and breakfast and comfortable

Beautiful Victorian house with large rooms and high ceilings overlooking a lovely park. Our room was clean and comfortable. Amanda made us feel most welcome and kindly booked us a taxi for our evening out. Delicious cooked full English breakfast in the morning.

Parking was extremely tight, glad we turned up early. For us the mattress was a little soft, but the high quality bed linen made up for it.

Everything. Amanda and Trudi (her friendly dog) made us very welcome. Room was beautiful with lovely aspect to the park. Breakfast was tasty. No surprise that Amanda won "4 in a bed", she thinks of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended!
