Location was good.

- Not much honestly. - Average size small bathroom. - Average size small room. - Location is fine, although we didn't walk anywhere except dinner.

- Bed cover was stained, so that was gross. - We’re not sure if it was the hotel’s thin walls or just lack of respect from our neighbor, but we heard them talking through the wall from the moment we arrived late into the night. To call the front desk, you have to use the phone in the hallway, and even though we made a noise complaint, I don’t think the hotel did/said anything to our loud neighbor. - We did not like that the hotel has some parking available, but it fills up quickly and you cannot reserve it. There was a large and mostly empty lot in front of it, but that was for another hotel. So, you end up spending money on paid parking. In the end, we turned on white noise and tried to sleep. - Bed and pillow were uncomfortable.

Modern room design and comfortable environment

Staff were very helpful, room was very clean, liked having a sento available on site.

Room was a little small, but no different than other Japanese hotels.

Very good selection of tea. Their breakfast was quite good and great coffee!

The room can be a bit smaller than I had thought for a double.

Staffs were good at English. They could recommend good yakiniku place and some stuffs quite well.

There are no free parking. We have to pay 700 Yen for private parking opposite the hotel.

The friendliness of the staff, especially the two people in the kitchen made our kids feel very special. The surprise dinner service of beef Japanese curry was a nice touch. We also liked the huge wall shelving storage in the room that gave plenty room to spread around stuff for our family.

The poor first impression of the hotel from the quite dusty front desk/lobby area (dark interior decor) made us worry about the cleanliness of our rooms, but guest rooms were much cleaner than the first impression.

Checking-in was a breeze, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The onsen was a bit small

The A/C worked very well, and the breakfast was very good for the price.

The hotel was advertised as having on-site parking, however this was very misleading. The hotel only had 5 parking spots, first come first serve. Otherwise you have to park at a pay-lot. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were very stiff and uncomfortable. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to use the room’s safe. Finally, the staff wasn’t as friendly as we had hoped, particularly during the check-in.
