The room and breakfast was good. The staff seemed pleasant. Everything in the room seemed clean and tidy.
The floors are looking tired in the general busy areas.

The Moxy Southampton is next to a multi-storey car park. Across the road is the West Quay Shopping Mall which contains a cinema on the top floor. There are several eating places available in the shopping centre and town. The City Cruise Terminal (Gate 8) is visible from the hotel and less than 10 minutes walk away along a flat pavement across the main harbour road. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. The decor is comic book/funky. The evening food menu is varied. Breakfast is self-service with hot and cold foods. A welcome punch style cocktail is offered. The rooms are spacious, curtains are thick, bathroom new with good lighting. The staff are enthusiastic, friendly and professional.

Breakfast selection was very good. Small English Breakfast - enjoyed. Great cereals and chopped fruit. Pastries and Continental selection. All very good.

Pillows...struggled with them. No idea what made from, like composite foam.
Duvets a bit too warm for summer.

Having to check in at a busy bar area- nice idea but not ideal if bar staff are busy
In the room - No where to hang clothes- other than a few pegs on wall
Rooms do have air conditioning- but the hotel itself decides what temperature is acceptable for its guests- if it’s too warm the instructions say open a window- do that and you will hear people in surrounding bars - which is fine - but not what you need if you’re on a cruise early morning

Very easy access, warm welcome from the staff. A good bar and food area. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Everything you need for a quick business trip.

The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. the breakfast was good with a varied selection. The location was perfect as we were cruising and it is very near the West Quay centre.

I liked where the Moxy is located, close to the bus station and a minute walk to the mall. Free WIFI and very comfortable room, serviced everyday. I will definitely visit the Moxy Southampton in the future.
The room was great and the level of security was awesome. However, I would have preferred a desk to work from and not just the nice chair. Also, the stirrers for the coffee were never changed the whole week I was there. Bottled drinking water would have been nice too!

The whole atmosphere was really really welcoming and the staff were absolutely lovely. The rooms were super easy to find and this hotel is so so cheap for what you get! They do offer breakfast for £12 per person which isn’t bad, I however declined the offer as I’m not a breakfast person. I would absolutely stay again!!
I did find a hair in the shower but that’s easy to miss when cleaning

I chose it for the location which was great for my visit.
Comfortable bed, good walk-in shower, speedy lifts.
No storage in the bedroom. No cupboard or decent sized shelf
Breakfast offered plenty of food but severely reduced fried breakfast and no hot plates

Great modern hotel. Didn't have to check out until noon which after a party was great.
Limited parking so we had to park in the multi story but apart from that can't fault it.

Chilled place to be . It is always our hotel of choice in Southampton and have stayed here quite a few times 🎱
On this particular occasion , very very slow to clear up glasses / plates etc . We are talking about 4 hours or more .

Modern and clean . Enjoyed the games in the lounge
Not the same first class experience as other moxi hotels we have stayed in and the staff behind the bar were not welcoming in fact we were laughed at when we assumed the hotel did room service like other Moxis we have visited . No gym . Welcome cocktail was really disappointing .. no alcohol in it ,just tasted of apple juice . If you say you are offering a cocktail then please offer a decent cocktail .

The lifts were a pain didn’t like them felt worried we would get stuck in them .

It was situated in a very good place, very quick walk to the centre. The room was very clean and was very comfortable.
The room was way too hot even with the lowest temperature on the wall and the window open.

The room was so hot when I got in, they had a little note on the wall explaining they wanted guests to have a warm room and to cool it down open a window….which I did but it was warm for such a long time it made me feel a bit sick.
