check in should be on 2 pm yet room was not cleaned till 3pm and I had to change my room

The staff were delightful and some of the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel, and upgraded me to a bigger room upon check-in. The kitchen area was huge and the bathroom was nicely appointed with its own washing machine and dryer. Location right next to the stadium and train station is pretty neat.

The two single beds in my room weren’t that comfortable, and I wish they’d have joined the two beds together with a bigger mattress.

The dog in the apartment below me that barks and craps over the small outdoor area. The last thing I expected was a barking dog in the unit below me.

The first room smelt of cigarette smoke.The second had a dog smell in it. The was no mention of dogs being allowed in all rooms at time of booking . A dog friendly option is ok but patrons sure be asked if they are willing to stay in a room after a dog has stayed their especially when the cleaning of the rooms is inadequate to remove paw marks and smell. Dogs appeared to be held in higher regards than customers with no pets- reception had water and free treats for dogs but no free water or treats on offer for the humans staying at the hotel. I had to share the lift with a dog as I was in the lift and there was an assumption that I was dog friendly because the hotel was… on a separate occasion I was unable to get out of the lift because a I large dog waiting with the owners block my access out. I had to ask that the dog be pulled back to allow me out.
