We enjoyed our stay in the “Pink Flamingo” house. It was nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The houses on the street are a combination of rentals, renovations, and residents. The kitchen is small and doesn’t have a dishwasher. There was 1 kitchen towel, so it was difficult to dry dishes and clean up after cooking. We purchased some paper plates, bowls and plastic utensils to accommodate for some of the cleanup. There is a washer and dryer which is great (no detergent was provided). The walk to the beach was a little far. We are avid walkers and it took us about 12 minutes to walk to the beach, but we had a wagon to carry beach supplies so that saved us. We did not see the pool. It was too far to walk and limited parking. The island is “pay to park” so that is aggravating, however, it did seem to keep the number of tourists down so it was not crowded. Overall we had a great trip. The Tybee beaches are very clean.

This was our first time to Savannah. We were impressed with this little house. The decor is super cute and the house was clean. There is no dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem as we only ate breakfast in. There were plenty of towels, dish soap, blankets and pillows. Thank you for the added extras of dish soap, bath soap, paper towel, sponge, garbage bags, tissues, and toilet paper! The only problem was the ROKU TV, but we managed it once we figured it out.

We had a great stay in Tybee Island. The house was the perfect size for the five of us. It was a short 20 min drive to downtown Savannah and about a half mile-ish walk to the beach. Lots of seating in the house and 4 chairs on the front porch. The couches and beds were comfortable. Easy check in process and good communication with the property owners, Southern Belle. Very clean, some paper products supplied but if you plan on staying longer than a few days, be prepared to buy more. We had a great time!!

We loved the pink flamingo house & enjoyed our stay, the house was beautiful, the only issue we had was that the listing said it had a gas grill & when we tried to grill there was no grill. Southern belle was great & brought us one but it was charcoal one which worked just took longer. The only other thing that would have been nice was to have directions on how to use the TV - it took a while to figure out how to use it. Other wise everything was perfect & we enjoyed our stay & even had a few friends who we haven’t seen in forever come to visit

The house was cute, clean, and as Tybee is pretty small, you’re not far from everything. There are a few things, however, I would have liked a heads up about that others may want to know. First, I may have missed it on the description of the place, but there’s no dishwasher. I saw “5 dishwasher tablets provided” (which there were), I assumed one was there. Wasn’t a huge deal, but we tried to eat as many meals as we could at home, including Thanksgiving, so a lot of time was spent on dishes. Also, there were few utensils for my family of 6 (so washing was even more necessary), as well as only one dish towel, which had to be laundered every day (for all the washing/drying as there also wasn’t a great drying rack situation).
The other thing I would have wanted to know was all of the TVs had Roku. This may not be a problem for many others, but as we aren’t familiar with it, it was hard to figure out, and as we don’t have subscriptions to streaming apps, we had to ask our family for their login info.
Keep in mind the island is pay to park, at around $3.50 an hour.
Bubba Gumbos was very good, as was Sundae Cafe. We’d go back there any day!

Beautiful house with lots of room! A bit uncomfortable to sit together to watch TV if you have more than 4 people. Also it would be nice to have had some beach gear available as we’ve had at other rentals we’ve stayed at. Umbrellas and beach chairs and beach towels would have been helpful. Just something for the owners to consider for the future.

This place was awesome and we will absolutely keep it in mind for future trips. The house is much bigger than it seems in the pictures. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Important note: the house does not have a dishwasher so it was harder to cook for 6 people. Keep it in mind when booking.

Great Place!
This was a fantastic company and the property was fabulous!! We took our 80 year old mothers on vacation and the Pink Flamingo was easy for them to get in and around. Everything was so clean and well put together. Thank You so very much!!! Will definitely get with them next vacation. Very happy overall with everything.

Overall, this is a good property and perfect spacing for a family. There was an area in a bathroom that looked a little less than clean, or perhaps was just older. The hot water heater was not enough to keep showers hot for five people.

Family fun
Our stay at the Pink Flamingo was wonderful. Property is just like the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We had excellent communication with the owners. We had a couple of lightbulbs out and a small wasp nest forming on the porch. They took care of everything immediately and then continued to check in to make sure all needs were met. Would definitely stay here again with our family of 6!

Great house!
Our week-long stay at the Southern Belle Pink Flamingo was wonderful! The home was clean and beautifully decorated. Our only suggestion is maybe an electrical outlet in the outside front of the house for charging golf carts.
I see others stating it needs a dishwasher, but there really isn’t room for one.
It is located in a quieter part of the island, which we loved but was only a short golf cart ride to anywhere!
We would definitely stay here again!

My stay at this property was perfect!! The cottage is quiet, clean and had all the amenities I needed for a 14 day respite during this pandemic!! I would highly recommend the cottage in Tybee Island. Walking the quiet beaches during the winter months is very relaxing and extremely peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are clean and well-decorated, and the property is located close to the beach.The pool advertised on the listing is small and far away from the property, and is shared between all their properties so is quite crowded. Additionally, we found it difficult to get in touch with the host in order to gain access to the pool.Otherwise this was an excellent location to explore Tybee Island and spend time on the beach.
